Jaclyn Taylor Kramer

I am a Partner at Futterman Lanza, LLP, where I focus my practice exclusively on Elder Law and Estate Planning. Since joining the firm in 2013, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families protect their assets, secure long-term care, and plan confidently for the future.

My work includes estate planning, Medicaid asset protection, special needs planning, probate, and estate administration. I take pride in providing each client with compassionate guidance and personalized legal solutions that reflect their unique goals and circumstances. For clients who are unable to travel, I offer home visits and flexible meeting options to make the process as comfortable and accessible as possible.

I earned my Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School, where I served as a Student Director for the Special Education Law Clinic and represented the school in the Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Moot Court competition. I also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan, where I was a proud member of the women’s gymnastics team, helping lead the program to four Big Ten Championship titles.

I am honored to have been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2016, 2018–2025), an award given to only 2.5% of attorneys in the Metro New York area. I was also named one of Long Island Business News’ Top 50 Women in Business and nominated for Bethpage “Best of Long Island” in the Best Elder Law Attorney and Best Lawyer categories.

As an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Elder Law & Estate Planning Committee, I stay current with the ever-changing legal landscape to ensure my clients always receive the highest quality representation.

Outside of my legal work, I enjoy playing pickleball and golf, spending time with my dog Eddie, and relaxing with family and friends.
