I also have extensive experience in Intellectual Property Law (patents, trademarks, and copyrights).

Replied last April 15, 2020This was a child support matter. The particular Judge in this case is known to be very difficult and almost always follows the law in awarding child support. The law states certain percentages have to be paid for child support. I informed the client that this was a difficult case and that the chances for success were low. I did the legal research on child support and also brought forward evidence demonstrating why the client should not have to pay what the child support law states. However, the Judge awarded what is called for in the law. I brought forward a well research appeal. Yet, because the Judge followed the law, the appeal was rejected. As for being late for court, I pride myself on returning all phone calls and emails on the same business day and I'm usually the first one to arrive at court. However, on this particular day, there was excessive traffic and I arrived at 9:02 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. court conference. Typically even for 9:00 a.m. court conferences, the court does not start until 9:30 a.m. Any prospective clients can get a full list of my excellent references from me and find my overwhelming positive reviews from both clients and peers.
