Everything you'd want

I couldn't be happier that I chose to go with Michelle. She's honest from the start. She tells you what you need to hear, she doesn't blow smoke or make promises to get your business. She fights for what's fair, will put you in your place, but through it all is supportive. In negotiations she's a...n artist. Strong, firm, calculated, and sees the whole picture. She doesn't shy away from going to trial (some lawyers do) but she's not afraid to do what's necessary to get what you're entitled to. Lastly, she does NOT rack up the legal fees. Many times she would tell me "I'll do that if you want but it's not necessary and I'd just be charging you for something you don't need". You'll know you made the right choice if you go with Michelle.

No nonsense attorney but so compassionate and caring…

How do I thank someone that is only looking out for my best interest. Many roller coaster rides during my case that is still ongoing. Michelle calls even after business hours to reassure me and tell me that I will be fine! So far she was able to do everything she said she would and I can’t thank her ...enough. I have complete trust in her and John and I know that she is trying to end this case and not drag it on like the opposing attorney is. Thank you Michelle from the bottom of my heart for the outcome so far. I knew you were the one when I met you ….

Frustrated and disappointed

After over 2 years of constant delays (multiple "attorneys only" hearings) with my case, I was repeatedly told by Michelle DiPaolo's associate Christina that the opposing attorney's office was the reason for the lack of progress in my case. Meanwhile, I had already paid over 15,000 in retainers wit...h no resolution in sight. Frustrated, I finally asked that everything be put on hold. Soon after, a relative referred me to another attorney who reviewed my case and confidently assured she could resolve both my business and property settlements within six months. True to her word, I had both settlements finalized within just four months - with even better terms on the business side. I wish I had made the change sooner. The difference in professionalism, communication and results was night and day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Michelle or her firm.

Hello James - I am sorry that you felt unsatisfied, but as you know we do not choose how a Court handles their conferences. The Court decides whether the conferences are held attorneys only or not, we do not get to decide that. When an adversary is unreasonable, a matter goes on longer than it should if we do not immediately move the matter to Court because the negotiations go nowhere, which increases legal fees. However, I can only advise, our clients ultimately make the decision. By not immediately moving the matter to Court it allows the other side to delay, causing unnecessary and increased legal fees. While I understand people are hesitant to go to Court because they feel that increases legal fees, it actually saves legal fees because a timeline gets put in place that moves the matter along. Your frustration is understandable, but we advise and make recommendations to move a matter along quicker and with less legal fees - ultimately our client makes the decision on whether to follow them. I am happy to discuss this with you further should you choose, feel free to contact my office if you would like to discuss same.
