Awesome Attorney!

It was a very difficult time for me and Mr. Glass got me through it. Very knowledgeable on personal injury.

Not Compassionate. Would Not Recommend.

On March 8, 2024, I spoke with Mr. Glass regarding a potential medical malpractice case related to my mother’s care at Maimonides Medical Center. The incident in question occurred in December 2021. Initially, Mr. Glass explained that the case might fall under wrongful death, which has a two-year stat...ute of limitations. However, he also mentioned that he could focus on pain and suffering, which might shift the case to medical malpractice and extend the statute of limitations to two and a half years. Unfortunately, he also mentioned that he would not stop working on his other cases for this case and, ultimately, decided that he would not be able to take it on. While I understand that every case has its limitations, I felt the tone of our conversation was less compassionate than I had hoped for, especially considering the emotional nature of my situation. Since my mother’s passing, I have been grieving deeply, and seeking legal counsel has been an emotionally challenging process for me. I had hoped for a more supportive and understanding approach, as this is my first time navigating such a difficult legal journey. I sincerely hope that, in the future, Mr. Glass and others in similar positions can approach grieving individuals with greater empathy, recognizing that those of us in such circumstances are trying to learn an entirely new process while still coping with our loss.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I deeply regret that our interaction did not meet your expectations, especially during such a difficult time. I understand the emotional challenges you are facing and sincerely apologize for any lack of compassion you felt during our conversation. I have always strived to provide clear and accurate legal guidance, and while I must balance multiple cases, I do recognize the importance of empathy and support, particularly in sensitive situations like yours. Your feedback is invaluable, and I will use it to improve my approach to ensure that grieving individuals receive the understanding and care they deserve. I am truly sorry for your loss and for any additional distress caused during your search for legal counsel. If there is anything further I can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
