Excellence

I never thought I would need to hire an attorney to help me with my disability claim, but when my insurance company did not take me seriously, and downplayed several reports furnished by my surgeon and physical therapist, I knew it was time to seek outside assistance. I realized from my initial conv...ersation with Jason Newfield that I had found the right person. This was especially comforting, since a larger local law firm had told me that my case would not be worth fighting. If you are in a similar situation, or even uncertain of which direction to take, my advice is to give Mr Newfield a call. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with the "ins and outs" of insurance policies, and companies' tactics to delay or deny rightful benefits to their policyholders. Not only was I completely impressed by his diligent, well-researched, and persistent strategy, I always was made to feel that I was his only client. It takes a very dedicated and focused attorney to achieve that. Not everyone is able to give their clients such customized and personal service. It is without hesitation that I give Mr Newfield an A+ rating. I cannot thank him enough for the result he obtained. And I cannot forget the assistance of Christina and Jenna as well. They both are excellent at their jobs, and an asset to the firm. Thanks to all of them!

Disability Lawyer Who Really Delivers

Attorney Newfield has successfully helped me fight for my rights on a disability claim that was denied. He was a terrific detective in finding buried inaccuracies in my insurance file. He really knows the law and the appeal he presented contained many examples of case law that strengthened our argu...ment. He also hires the best - everyone from his office is helpful, kind and patient which is important as these denials are financially, physically and emotionally exhausting. I'm so grateful to Attorney Newfield for taking the time to understand my medical condition as well as for being very talented at preparing the appeal.

Fighting Insurance Companies

I retained Jason Newfield from the firm of Frankel /Newfield to represent me against the Hartford Insurance Company . Hartford discontinued ny disability payments after 2 1/2 years on a five year payout. They decided i could return to my previous job and wasn’t disabled. Well i spare you the agonizin...g 8 months of no payments , but Jason and Christina fought Hartford with all the right responses to Hartfords barrage of questionnaires and opinions by their “Doctors” who basically are MDs that couldn’t get a job elsewhere. They have the experience and know how to take on the Big Insurance Companies . Remember the Insurance company is betting you wont retain a lawyer when you are denied ,its how they operate. My advice ,if youre denied lawyer up with Jason Newfield. I won my case against Hartford and was reinstated . I also retained Jason to represent me till the end of the claim to prevent further harassment from Hartford .

Jason is a pro- highly recommended

I have the pleasure of writing a 5 STAR positive review for disability benefits attorney Jason Newfield. Jason takes being a professional very seriously and with pride. I am a 61 yo dentist who has a broken shoulder from a ski accident in 2012. Its been a slowly degenerating problem since then and... although I had been reluctant to start a claim, and the hassles that go with it, I felt entitled to the benefits so pursued a claim in 2015. About 18 months ago I was referred to Jason by the insurance agent who sold me the policy 30 years ago. My insurance company, Mass Casualty, threw as many obstacles at this claim as they could. Jason predicted how they would react after every communication and advised me of my options along the way. He led me step by step. He also has a very good understanding of accounting which I realized is necessary as tax returns and profit and loss statements need to be analyzed. Most importantly he wasn't hesitant to make knowledgeable recommendations reflecting my desires. He answered questions I didn't think about. Jason's has a no nonsense approach. He is friendly but doesn't waste legal fee time with "chit chat" as he likes to get right to the point and his billing is surprisingly accurate........ Last month my claim was settled. I was ready to accept the second offer but Jason advised to hold out and in 2 days I was given a third offer and an additional 15%. It's hard to judge what reasonable and fair compensation is for a partial disability but I got more than what I thought I might. I've never written a review before on social media and I deal with a lot of professionals. When I left Jason's office with the claim check I shook his hand and said how unusual it is for me to be satisfied with professional services. I have high expectations. Thanks Jason for compelling me to want to write this review.

Jason Newfield - A Must Have On Your Side

I knew I needed to hire an attorney after my disability benefits were denied. I quickly realized that I had no idea what I was up against with the major disability insurance company that was holding my claim. Initially, I was awarded a long term disability claim, but nine months later those be...nefits were denied. I was frightened and worried as I was still unable to return to work due to my disability, and, as a matter of fact, my symptoms became even worse due to the stress and anxiety of my benefits being denied. I knew I needed representation as I simply could not battle this on my own. I had no knowledge of this process and I needed to protect myself and my family. Being a paralegal for over 20 years, I did my research on disability attorneys, and decided to reach out to Newfield & Frankel. It was by far, the best decision I ever made regarding my disability claim. From the very first phone call, I knew they were the attorneys for me. I was able to speak to Jason Newfield on that first call. Just talking to him that first time, I already felt comforted by his knowledge of the disability insurance company that I was dealing with, as well as his awareness of the entire disability claim process. He did not “sugar coat” anything. He told it like it is, and made me understand who we were up against and what we can expect. His experience in this field was (and is) clearly unparallel. Needless to say, I knew I needed him on my side, and quickly hired him. Jason wasted no time at all. He had retention papers drown up and signed, and the same day he sent a letter to my disability insurance company, letting them know that he now represents me and that we will appeal their decision to deny my benefits. He was exactly what I needed! I have two children under the age of 7, and I had no time to waste physically, mentally or financially. Jason and his extremely diligent paralegal, Christina, worked feverishly on my appeal, as they knew I was unable to return to work due to my disability, and how my family and I were financially strained. Throughout the appeal process, Jason was always accessible. He was available whenever I called, and responded to my emails within minutes. Jason prepared an appeal that consisted of hundreds of pages. Along with my medical records stating my disabilities, there was overwhelming research and facts about my condition and its debilitating symptoms, as well as extensive arguments about the findings of the insurance company’s doctors that reviewed my medical records, and as a result, wrongfully denied my benefits. The appeal was beyond impressive. That said, due to their dedication and hard work, my disability benefits were reinstated! It has been well over a year that I hired Jason Newfield as my attorney and to date he still represents me with my disability claim, as I am still receiving disability benefits. I cannot express the relief my husband and I feel with Jason on our side. His expertise, reliability and overall kindness are remarkable. I am deeply grateful for all Jason and his team has done, and continues to do, for me and my family. My disability has changed my life and it has been a struggle every day, but the comfort I receive by having hired Jason Newfield is invaluable. If you are reading this review and are considering hiring an attorney to represent you with your disability claim, trust me, you need to look no further. Simply call Newfield & Frankel, and I guarantee that after your initial conversation with them, you will feel as I did and know that you will be in great hands!

"I endorse this lawyer's work. Jason and I have opposed each other in several litigations involving claims for disability insurance benefits under individual and group policies. Relatively speaking, there are few lawyers who practice in this "niche" area. Jason's significant experience was evident in each matter as he was well-versed in the applicable law and thoroughly familiar with the details of his client's claim. He was always well-prepared and persistent in trying to advance his client's interests."
