Biography
I have spent the past 20+ years devoted to advocating for my client base of disabled claimants. I have helped clients navigate new claims, address concerns in the claim process, litigated cases on behalf of aggrieved clients, negotiated resolutions of claims, all of which allowed clients to focus on their health.
I have spent most of his legal career representing long term disability insurance policyholders.. I spent several years practicing in commercial litigation and professional malpractice defense before founding my own firm with the vision of supporting clients during their most challenging times - where their health has become compromised and their careers impacted.
I am proud to have received from Martindale-Hubbell® an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rated, the highest possible designation from Martindale-Hubbell. Super Lawyers has also named me to its select list of attorneys since 2013 in its New York Metro listings.
I am a regular speaker before bar associations and medical organizations regarding disability claims, and have published many articles on Disability Insurance. I have presented for CLE credit to other attorneys in the area of Disability Insurance.
I received my B.A. from State University of New York, Albany, and my J.D. from Hofstra Law School, where I was a member and Associate Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. I am admitted to practice in the states of New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, District of Connecticut, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Fourth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
