Disability claim obstacle course

I purchased a disability insurance policy years ago never really expecting to need it. Unfortunately I developed some health issues that prevented me from continuing to practice in my medical sub-specialty. I decided to make a claim on my insurance. I expected some push-back from the insurer, so on... the advice of my attorney sister-in-law not to try to pursue the claim on my own, I sought out an attorney with expertise in disability insurance claims. I hired Mr. Newfield. He was very helpful, throughout the claims process which to me seemed like an obstacle course with numerous forms and documentation to prepare, as well as communicating with the insurance company on my behalf. He retrurned my calls and emails promptly and succinctly. He has been patient with me and polite and respectful. He was up front regarding his fees and what I could expect from him. His advice and counsel has been invaluable.

Hands down, best attorney that has ever represented me

Attorney Newfield is a highly dedicated and committed attorney. His professionalism and strong knowledge in the areas of disability insurance claims, were key in the successful handling of my disability claim, were others had failed. Attorney Newfield, is second to none! He was extremely down to eart...h friendly, courteous and responsive to my disability claim needs. One thing about attorney Newfield that makes him stand out from other attorneys, is the fact that attorney Newfield calls you himself on a regular basis giving you case updates. I found this to be refreshing and amazing that he takes time out of his busy day to keep you informed. Attorney Jason Adam Newfield not only puts his client’s interests first, but also gives you a unique and personal service which is unheard for the most part from my experience. Attorney Newfield is an amazing attorney. It is without hesitation that I give Mr Newfield an A+ rating. I cannot thank him enough for the result he obtained in such a short amount of time on my claim!!.

He is the best!

I can’t say enough positive things about Jason and his group. He saved me! My insurance had actually cut me off, because my Dr. had checked the wrong box – they didn’t call, ask questions, verify, etc. after years of my condition and the medical form always being the same. Just stopped the benefit.... I have a chronic issue that will not go away or get better. Instead they cut off my income that day – with no notice. All of a sudden I had no income – and had no idea how to appeal their decision. I thank God I found Jason as he walked me through all of the steps to maximize my supporting information, records etc. that would be needed to send in. Then he added his special legal input and documentation – and after a year of fighting them, my benefits were restored – AND I was provided the back pay!!! He knew exactly what to do, what to say, what to have me do etc. I could never have done an appeal without him and won. It was the best decision I could have made. Jason and his staff worked wonders and then I kept him each year to review the required annual insurance medical updates before submitting to the insurance company - just in case the insurance tried to pull something else. He was there to advise and assist before sending in each annual update. Each year we would collect the latest medical information and I would write a cover letter to describe my situation. He would critique and submit everything I sent him as well as any other information he wanted to add to support my case. He was always very patient, responsive, quick to produce what we needed, helped me step by step, and was always available when I needed him. Such a pleasure to work with. He really did save me! The benefit went for the entire policy period until I just aged out this year. I could not have made it without this earned disability from my employer. I can’t thank Jason and his firm enough and would recommend them HIGHLY for anyone!! Just can’t say enough good things.

The Best Disability Lawyer in the country!

If you are forced with filing a disability claim, take my advice and call Jason Newfield before you even file the claim. The insurance company is not on your side and Jason's knowledge, experience and commitment will result in a more favorable outcome. I unfortunately learned this lesson the hard w...ay and it caused unnecessary stress for myself and my family. I am grateful to have had another professional recommend Jason Newfield as he was able to resolve my case in a fair, reasonable and timely manner. I have the upmost confidence and respect for Jason Newfield as he exemplifies the term "super lawyer." I would give him 5 STARS and a PERFECT 10 score!

Protecting your disability benefits when you have Fibromyalgia and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - Don't be fooled !

For anyone that suffers from Fibromyalgia and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome you need to reach out to a disability lawyer that specializes in this area. Don’t be fooled by the insurance company. They will act like your friend to get you to say what will help them deny your claim. Having your doctor s...tate you are disabled and no longer able to work because of your diagnosis and symptoms is simply not enough. I personally have used Jason Newfield from Frankel and Newfield. His practice is built upon getting you the disability benefits that you are entitled to. No he cannot guarantee you that benefits will be paid but he will put in the time and effort to give you the best opportunity to receive the benefits you are entitled to. Remember the insurance companies only objective is to find a way to deny your claim. Jason's only objective is protect your interest. He has an enormous amount of experience knowing the do’s and don’t. Equally important I’m sure that your disability insurance provider is one that he most likely has dealt with in the past. I won't lie, there is a cost associated having legal representation but I will tell you that the cost of not being properly represented is far greater. I cannot over emphasize that the insurance company will do and use whatever tactic is necessary, and then some, that is best for them to deny your claim. Hence if you don’t present your case with your best foot forward, at the beginning, you could be setting yourself up for failure. You have to able to prove that your disability prevents you from working. As I have stated earlier, a diagnosis and list of your symptoms is simply not enough. Leave that part to the professionals. Frankel and Newfield (Jason Newfield) is someone that I have been using for about 10 years. This is all they do. Prior to using Jason Newfield, I thought I had done everything right. I had legal representation but not someone who specializes in these disabilities. Jason took on my case when it was time to appeal my denial. Best decision I’ve ever made was going with Jason Newfield. My only regret was not using him from the very onset. I may have been able to avoid filing an appeal. Trust me that using someone that specializes in Fibromyalgia and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome disability cases is your best chance of getting the benefits you are entitled to. I would like to close out by saying getting your initial benefits is only part of the process. You will need to provide the proper documentation, on a regular basis, to support your claim long term. As well, you need to understand your insurance policy. It most likely will have definition changes at certain intervals. Leave those details to someone you can trust. In Jason I trust.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer's work. Jason and I have opposed each other in several litigations involving claims for disability insurance benefits under individual and group policies. Relatively speaking, there are few lawyers who practice in this "niche" area. Jason's significant experience was evident in each matter as he was well-versed in the applicable law and thoroughly familiar with the details of his client's claim. He was always well-prepared and persistent in trying to advance his client's interests."
