Matthew Brendan Tuohy

I was told I needed a criminal attorney, as you can imagine I was overwhelmed with anxiety. I never had been in such a "situation". I didn't know where to turn or what to do, so I did what most people would do and went online and searched for the best criminal lawyer. A few names came up. I called on...e, (I won't leave her name) she wasn't very personable, she asked me a couple of questions, I told her I didn't have much money and instead of saying something like, "why don't you come in and chat further about your situation and then discuss money", she must've gotten turned off when I told her about my financial situation and told me to call legal aid near me, which left me frantic, assuming I would get the same results from every other attorney, but I decided to try again and I called Matt. He didn't answer his phone but as soon as I hung up I had gotten a text from him stating he was busy and he'd call right back, and he did. He said "Hi I'm Matt Tuohy." I told him my name and he said "What's going on brother?" That alone made me feel like I was talking to a friend or someone I knew already. I proceeded to tell him about my situation, right away he wanted me to send him paperwork that I had received and told me to come see him in his office that same day. We talked some more on the phone, he asked where I was from etc. He put me at ease to say the least, just from that phone call. I went to see him and he told me of my options and/or possible outcomes. We then talked about money and let's just say he worked with me. This is the guy you want in your corner, he really cares and I can't thank him enough. He came, he saw, he conquered.

I made a mistake when I was younger and was pulled over For an in operable headlight. I was told you blow in the Breathalyzer and I Refused and was arrested. I obtained Matt I for a lawyer. Like a lot of good people , I made a mistake and drank too much and drove my car after a few too many ... I was arrested at 10pm .... I called Matt at 12pm from my jail cell ... he answered , put me at ease and assured me that he would be at my arraignment in Court the next day ... needless to say ,... Matt was there as promised and negotiated an amazing deal with the DA that truly saved my life & career and gave me that second chance to learn from my stupidity and never drink & drive again ... When you get a phone call a mother worse nightmare that your teenager is in jail . I felt my heart was shattered in pieces. Not knowing what to do .. I end up googling Matt Tuohy saw that had the best 5 star reviews . I remember calling Matt Tuohy at 8 pm crying telling him my situation . Tuohy said... not worry that he was going to call the precinct to find out whats going on and for them not to interrogate my son . Because anything you say would be held against you in the day of court .. As I was waiting at the precinct Tuohy called me back saying what was going to happen . that they was going to keep my son over night and the next day my son will have to appear at court in front of a judge . For me not to worry to go home rest and tomorrow I would see him at court .. as I was leaving the precinct the detective called me in . All upset saying he wasn’t able to interrogate my son because my lawyer called .. I left the precinct more at peace. The next day I met up with Matt Tuohy . In which I’m happy to say my lawyer ., my son had a $25,000 Bail in which Tuohy was able to lower to $10,000 bail and was charge with second-degree robbery. Tuohy told not to worry he going to drop all charges to something that will not appear in my son recorded . As promise Tuohy just did just that ..
