Acquitted of All Charges

I was charged with sexual abuse of a minor. As you can imagine, this allegation had serious impacts on the life of my family, myself, my businesses; with the potential of jail time and the requirement to register myself and my dwelling as a sexual predator for the rest of my natural life looming, I w...as in a very desperate situation. I also had to deal with the social stigma that goes along with this type of accusation, both in the court of public opinion and selection of a jury for criminal court. If convicted... I don't ever want to go there in my mind ever again. Very scary stuff, but worse, a very lonely situation to be in; you can't help but live in hopeless despair, which seems to never go away. All while the frustration grows with within you toward the accuser and the legal system. The frustration knowing that if there was an actual investigation, of facts, performed, before charging you with a crime, there would be no charges. You helplessly watch as they seem to be more interested in media sensationalism, and the attention given to their department, rather than the actual facts of matter. It is a very lonely and desperate place to be and not to have a voice or means to fight back is one of the worst feeling a person could have. Then I met John Loturco. I could go on about how brilliant and skilled of a litigator John is, and he is, but you will see it for yourself the moment you meet him and when you watch the way he maneuvers through cross examinations of detectives and witnesses. I remember it was like watching an artist chisel out features from a ridged stone, never knowing what the next piece would reveal. The prosecuting team, the judge, myself, and jury were all spectator in this artistry and waited in quite anticipation of what he was going to say next. His calm but serous nature resonates with both judges and juries and it was quite amazing to watch him operate and control that courtroom. John's skill in the courtroom is very important, and before meeting with John, I knew he was a great attorney, from reputation alone; what I didn't know was the man. What I found to be most important, and what meant the most for me, was that he listened. He heard what I was saying and saw the injustice in what was being done to me. He became my voice. He fought the fight I wanted to fight but couldn't. His commitment to make sure the truth was told never wavered. When John represented me, I felt as if there was a family member standing in front of a judge and jury of my peers, vigorously presenting the facts of the case, like no one other than he could; because he actually cared. He didn't just care about a win for his books but about me, my life, my future, my family. He took this (my) burden home with him each night and woke, if he ever slept, to fight even harder the next day. That's the man, the man I grew to admire and respect. The man who sacrificed time with his own family to save mine. John has a unique ability to connect with the jury and is an amazing litigator but you would be hard pressed to find a better man. I hope no one ever has to go through what my family and I went through, but the reality is, it will happen again to another. What I can tell you is John was there for me and my family, he answered every question I had, he consoled my family members, he basically became family, always returned my calls, he and his staff constantly communicated with me, and he dedicated himself to giving me the highest level of legal representation I could have ever imagined. Who knows where my life would be right now if he hadn't become part of it, but I am thankful for it every day that we found him. As far as I'm concerned, they is no other choice if your, or someone you care about, life is in legal jeopardy.
