BEST. CHOICE. EVER.

I was dealing with a civil matter from something that had occurred almost thirty years ago. We all make mistakes but sex crimes carry a stigma, regardless of the circumstances. And I was losing confidence in the lawyer who was representing me at the time. My marriage and relationships were already st...rained but the outcome of this case could have seriously impacted the lives of my young children. I couldn't take any chances. All charges dismissed

I was charged with a serious sex crime that was not only humiliating, but if convicted it would have essentially ruined my life. Although I was fired from my job, at least now I am not going to be convicted of a sex crime, and I will not have a criminal record because of John LoTurco’s representation... and ability to find a loophole in the case to get it dismissed. I can now find secure employment to support my family. Mr. LoTurco was able to get my case dismissed so quickly that he even waived the balance of my legal fee because he knew I lost my job, and I needed the money to take care of my family until I turned my life around. I am forever indebted to John LoTurco. I absolutely recommend John LoTurco and his law firm to anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney in New York!

THE BEST LAWYER! - Highly recommend

My husband was falsely accused and charged with two counts of Felony Sexual Abuse of two children. This was a horrifying nightmare as my husband was facing 50 years in jail if convicted. We were terrified and desperate and we needed the best Criminal Defense Attorney on Long Island. The first lawyer ...we went to told us our case was hopeless. The next lawyer referred us to John LoTurco based upon his long history of acquittals in these types of cases of false allegations. We are thankful to God that we found John LoTurco because he saved my husband’s life as he was acquitted after a lengthy trial in Suffolk County of all charges in October, 2019. Mr. LoTurco and his partner Aida Leisenring were highly skilled trial attorneys who worked day and night before and during the trial to make certain they were completely prepared for my husband’s defense. You can see that everyone in the courtroom highly respected Mr. LoTurco, including the judge, prosecutor and especially the jury. Both Mr. LoTurco and Ms. Leisenring’s ability to cross examine witnesses to bring out the false accusations in this case was simply remarkable. We honestly felt like they were family members standing in front of the judge and the jury fighting for us. Mr. LoTurco’s closing argument was so powerful, passionate and highly persuasive that the jury trusted his arguments that my husband was absolutely falsely accused of these horrendous allegations. Although this was the most traumatic, horrible experience anyone could possibly go through in their lives, once we heard the jury repeatedly state “not guilty”, we felt so blessed that we went to John LoTurco. We feel that John LoTurco, Aida Leisenring and their entire law office are the ones to seek out when faced with the most serious charges, and when you simply need lawyers who truly care for their clients and their families.

Acquitted of All Charges

I was charged with sexual abuse of a minor. As you can imagine, this allegation had serious impacts on the life of my family, myself, my businesses; with the potential of jail time and the requirement to register myself and my dwelling as a sexual predator for the rest of my natural life looming, I w...as in a very desperate situation. I also had to deal with the social stigma that goes along with this type of accusation, both in the court of public opinion and selection of a jury for criminal court. If convicted... I don't ever want to go there in my mind ever again. Very scary stuff, but worse, a very lonely situation to be in; you can't help but live in hopeless despair, which seems to never go away. All while the frustration grows with within you toward the accuser and the legal system. The frustration knowing that if there was an actual investigation, of facts, performed, before charging you with a crime, there would be no charges. You helplessly watch as they seem to be more interested in media sensationalism, and the attention given to their department, rather than the actual facts of matter. It is a very lonely and desperate place to be and not to have a voice or means to fight back is one of the worst feeling a person could have. Then I met John Loturco. I could go on about how brilliant and skilled of a litigator John is, and he is, but you will see it for yourself the moment you meet him and when you watch the way he maneuvers through cross examinations of detectives and witnesses. I remember it was like watching an artist chisel out features from a ridged stone, never knowing what the next piece would reveal. The prosecuting team, the judge, myself, and jury were all spectator in this artistry and waited in quite anticipation of what he was going to say next. His calm but serous nature resonates with both judges and juries and it was quite amazing to watch him operate and control that courtroom. John's skill in the courtroom is very important, and before meeting with John, I knew he was a great attorney, from reputation alone; what I didn't know was the man. What I found to be most important, and what meant the most for me, was that he listened. He heard what I was saying and saw the injustice in what was being done to me. He became my voice. He fought the fight I wanted to fight but couldn't. His commitment to make sure the truth was told never wavered. When John represented me, I felt as if there was a family member standing in front of a judge and jury of my peers, vigorously presenting the facts of the case, like no one other than he could; because he actually cared. He didn't just care about a win for his books but about me, my life, my future, my family. He took this (my) burden home with him each night and woke, if he ever slept, to fight even harder the next day. That's the man, the man I grew to admire and respect. The man who sacrificed time with his own family to save mine. John has a unique ability to connect with the jury and is an amazing litigator but you would be hard pressed to find a better man. I hope no one ever has to go through what my family and I went through, but the reality is, it will happen again to another. What I can tell you is John was there for me and my family, he answered every question I had, he consoled my family members, he basically became family, always returned my calls, he and his staff constantly communicated with me, and he dedicated himself to giving me the highest level of legal representation I could have ever imagined. Who knows where my life would be right now if he hadn't become part of it, but I am thankful for it every day that we found him. As far as I'm concerned, they is no other choice if your, or someone you care about, life is in legal jeopardy.

Great Lawyer, Great Man

My story is long. I'll try to be brief. I was falsely accused of a sex crime. After interviewing 5 attorneys, including somebody who's reputed to be the best, it was clear I needed to hire John. I'm so glad I did! John was 100% on my side. His knowledge of the law and his advice we're right ...on the money and I can't imagine anybody being more adept at cross examination. Within 3 minutes he exposed the complaining witness as a liar. Later on in the prosecutions case he exposed their " star" witness as a liar. His cross was so good we decided not to even call many of our witnesses. At one point in the trial I just had to tell his family how brilliant he was during cross. At cross he even exposed the police as not believing the charge! It was obvious after 30 minutes of deliberation that I'd be fully acquitted, which I was. John is extremely professional and extremely reliable. In my opinion you'd be crazy not to hire him.
