David Marc Schwartz

David Schwartz has spent his entire career practicing law as a litigator and is actively involved with the political landscape in New York State. Mr. Schwartz, in his career as a trial attorney, has successfully tried high profile Murder cases, White Collar cases, felony cases, misdemeanors as well as civil cases. No matter how big or small the case is, David Schwartz personally manages every criminal case. Every criminal case aggressively fought with vigor and every angle is analyzed in order to achieve positive results for our clients. Mr. Schwartz has been a regular guest legal commentator for the Fox News Channel, MSNBC, Headline News, WABC News, Fox Morning Show, Court TV and for the ESPN morning show. Mr. Schwartz has been asked by these television networks to give legal analysis and his expert opinion on criminal cases, constitutional legal issues, civil cases and has argued for stronger drug testing guidelines affecting professional athletes. Mr. Schwartz was appointed by the New York State Senate as a Commissioner on the Commission on Judicial Nomination which nominates Justices to the NYS Court of Appeals and is also a Trustee of the Brooklyn Bar Association. Mr. Schwartz served the People of the State of New York as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County from 1993 through 1997. As an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Schwartz handled hundreds of criminal prosecutions. He successfully tried numerous felonies and misdemeanor cases which lead to the conviction and incarceration of many criminals. David Schwartz has been engaged in the private practice of law from 1997 to present. He has handled hundreds of criminal cases in private practice and has tried many of those cases. Mr. Schwartz concentrates his practice in Commercial and Criminal Litigation, Administrative Hearings, and Government Relations. Mr. Schwartz also represents various businesses and counsels them on all legal issues and political issues. Mr. Schwartz is admitted and appears in the United States District Court of New York, Eastern and Southern Districts, United States Tax Court, New York State Supreme Court, New York City Criminal and Civil Court, and Nassau County District Court. Mr. Schwartz has argued appeals in the New York State Appellate Division, First and Second Departments and the United States Court of Appeals (2nd Circuit). Furthermore, he has appeared Pro Hoc Vice in the United States District Court of New Jersey.

On March 22, 2004, Mr. Schwartz was appointed by New York State Governor, George Pataki as a Board Member of the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) Inspector General Management Advisory Board. In July of 2005, Mr. Schwartz was appointed by the New York State Senate to serve as an appointee to the Board of the New York Convention Javits Center and was appointed in 2006 as a Commissioner to the Commission on Judicial Nomination. Furthermore, Mr. Schwartz was elected Vice President of Temple Sinai in Roslyn New York serving over One Thousand families. Mr. Schwartz has served as the Executive Director of Citizens Against Cross Contamination, (CACC). CACC is dedicated to preventing cross contamination arising out of endoscopic procedures. Mr. Schwartz has worked tirelessly in a campaign to change the standard of care in the reprocessing of endoscopes from the current ineffective standard of disinfection to complete sterilization. Mr. Schwartz has dedicated resources and time working for CACC in order to safeguard the estimated 15 million patients who receive endoscopic procedures every year. He has also fought for the rights of tax payers who are losing Billions of dollars a year due to the illegal and untaxed distribution of cigarettes.
