Don't waste your time. Once he has your money he is done.

Please do your homework before hiring someone like Morse Geller to represent you. I hired him after consulting a lawyer referral site. I thought he would be best because he was located close to the case and specifically said he had prior experience with the law firm I was dealing with at the time. ... I agreed to retain him, however due to the holiday I did not send the payment right away but he sent me multiple emails about payment. (should have been a red flag) I sent him the documents pertaining to the case (specifically what stage the case was in) Once he was paid it took me almost a month to get that same friendly lawyer on the phone. He informed me he was working on the case so I accepted that. In the months to follow I hardly got him on the phone but would send multiple emails before I got a response always that he was working on the case and would update me once there was some news or something was missing. Fast forward 3 months after he was paid I received a letter in the mail that the Sherriff office had received a notice to execute a judgment against me. When I finally got Morse on the phone his exact words were "Oh Sh*% he sent out some papers for me to sign and send back. A week later I received word from him that the requested motion was denied. We discussed why the motion was denied {The wrong papers were filed} (Mr. Geller was fully briefed about the case all the docs were sent to him. I also learned he requested docs from the law firm representing the plaintive) Mr. Geller also did not file a motion with the courts indicating he was my attorney until he filed the answer with the courts some 3 months after he was hired and paid. Mr. Geller was aware of all the facts in the case, when he indicated he was working on the case he was not. In short his negligence in filing the papers I retained him to file in a timely matter has cost me dearly. Thanks for nothing

Great Lawyer

I initially hired Morse Geller on recommendation from a previous satisfied client of his and have now down so on many occasions and for multiple business dealings. I found him to be available at all hours, aggressive, knowledgeable, and fair. He always explained the law to me in layman's terms a...nd fought for my interests. I found his fees to be extremely reasonable and I would wholeheartedly recommend his services.

DO NOT HIRE

Do NOT hire this attorney. The man initially sounds knowledgeable on the phone when he's pitching himself as to why you should hire him, and he presents himself as a sincere person who wants to help you with your case, however, once he receives payment from you he will ignore you completely and not g...ive a second thought about it. In June, I informed him that I needed a lawyer to act fast because I had a case that needed urgent attention. He said no problem and sent me a retainer agreement on Wednesday June 26th. I signed it and overnighted it on Thursday the 27th to him with the payment for delivery on Friday the 28th. He didn't let me know that he received the package on Friday, but he did let me know on Sunday that he was going on vacation for the next week. I was bewildered, I explained the urgency of my matter and he said don't worry, this can all be done by email and phone calls. I believed him. That's when he started ignoring my phone calls and emails. This went on for 3 weeks. The only time I was able to get through to him and not get sent to his voicemail, was when my phone died and I had to borrow a friends phone. He answered up right away. I was surprised that he picked up, and he was surprised to hear me on the other end of the phone. Then I realized that he was intentionally avoiding my calls and planned to do nothing for my case. I guess he answered that call because he saw a new number and thought he could cash in on another unsuspecting person who is in need of a lawyer. In his mind a client is born every minute. The man is an appalling excuse for a human being. He does not show any respect to his clients once he receives his payment. He figures his job is done once he gets his check no matter the outcome of the case. He does not care to keep appointments or return calls or emails. He is absolutely the most selfish and arrogant that you could hire as your representative. I pray that no one else wastes their money and more importantly their time on this useless excuse for counsel. So if you come across this review because you are considering hiring Morse Geller to represent you - trust me when I say "look elsewhere."

Mr. Geller is not above board

I thought I would use the internet to find a lawyer to handle my colleciton. Instead Mr. Geller collected my money with no services rendered and no receipt. Unless you live in his area you are taking a chance losing your money.
