Misleading

I was just served a summons from Morse Geller representing a car finance company . I called back in May and I was basically threatened over the phone to come after my income if I didn’t settle over the phone which is harassment. This law firm states they represent consumers , but I’m they’re in fac...t representing the company that financed my loan which is commercial . The index number to look up to confirm this is 709315 (queens county ). I will as I’ve stated back in May hire an attorney to represent me to the highest extent . I most definitely don’t recommend this firm that is misleading to the public .

Debt Settlement

I hired Morse Geller to defend me in a case that was brought against me by a bank. Mr. Geller handled the case very well and at the end negotiated a wonderful settlement for me. His fee was very reasonable and he responded to all my questions and phone calls promptly. It was like having a family m...ember taking care of me. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an excellent attorney who will listen, explain the law, give good advice and protect them in Court.

Efficient, Methodical, and Professional !!!

Mr. Geller took two very large cases for me against two national and well organized and no-none-sense debt collectors. I did not know what to expect but as the other side was putting on the pressure I wanted to make sure that I had the very best to represent me throughout the process. I tried the fir...st case with him first as it was more pressing and then right after the second case. He made no promises except that he would try hard to help me and would represent me to the best of his ability. He won the first case for me and saved me from a very great liability. The second case is very close to dismissal as the other side has literally dropped the defense and we are awaiting the final statement from the Judge to dismiss. He kept me informed every step of the way of the developments in the case and explained the law to me in terms I could understand and relate to. Mr. Geller's fees were more than reasonable and I felt as if I were being helped by a prudent uncle rather than by someone I had just recently met. I have no reservations in recommending Morse Geller to anyone who needs legal help. I thank God for putting me together and in touch with him.

Don't waste your time. Once he has your money he is done.

Please do your homework before hiring someone like Morse Geller to represent you. I hired him after consulting a lawyer referral site. I thought he would be best because he was located close to the case and specifically said he had prior experience with the law firm I was dealing with at the time. ... I agreed to retain him, however due to the holiday I did not send the payment right away but he sent me multiple emails about payment. (should have been a red flag) I sent him the documents pertaining to the case (specifically what stage the case was in) Once he was paid it took me almost a month to get that same friendly lawyer on the phone. He informed me he was working on the case so I accepted that. In the months to follow I hardly got him on the phone but would send multiple emails before I got a response always that he was working on the case and would update me once there was some news or something was missing. Fast forward 3 months after he was paid I received a letter in the mail that the Sherriff office had received a notice to execute a judgment against me. When I finally got Morse on the phone his exact words were "Oh Sh*% he sent out some papers for me to sign and send back. A week later I received word from him that the requested motion was denied. We discussed why the motion was denied {The wrong papers were filed} (Mr. Geller was fully briefed about the case all the docs were sent to him. I also learned he requested docs from the law firm representing the plaintive) Mr. Geller also did not file a motion with the courts indicating he was my attorney until he filed the answer with the courts some 3 months after he was hired and paid. Mr. Geller was aware of all the facts in the case, when he indicated he was working on the case he was not. In short his negligence in filing the papers I retained him to file in a timely matter has cost me dearly. Thanks for nothing

Mr. Geller is not above board

I thought I would use the internet to find a lawyer to handle my colleciton. Instead Mr. Geller collected my money with no services rendered and no receipt. Unless you live in his area you are taking a chance losing your money.
