Best legal defense

I am a Long Island college student who was wrongly accused amongst others for academic dishonesty based on a professor’s assumptions. When I was first notified of the false accusation, I was surprised and extremely nervous of how this could impact my future as I have had no other disciplinary issues ...in my academic career. The steps leading up to the hearing which included the appeal process was misleading and confusing. I researched lawyers and was fortunate to find Scott Limmer who is an excellent academic disciplinary attorney. Scott was an amazing attorney who made me feel comfortable throughout this difficult process. He was always available to answer any questions I had and offered expert legal advice every step of the way. At first the school told me that I was not able to have an attorney present at the hearing. Fortunately, that was not the case as in the end Scott Limmer was able to attend my hearing with me after all. He prepared me extensively for the hearing, going over the evidence and arguments for weeks prior to the hearing date. This accusation could have damaged not only my GPA but also my integrity and reputation. I am so grateful that I had Scott Limmer as my attorney and I would highly recommend him. With his legal guidance, I was fortunate to receive a favorable outcome as I was found not responsible for academic dishonesty and I received my final grade for the class with no penalty.

High school issue

I had a very big issue with my 14 year old son being harshly punished by his school district for something he did not do. I consulted over the phone with 6 lawyers who all basically told me that I was at the mercy of the district. I refused to accept that and I’m glad that I didn’t because as soon as... I spoke with Scott Limmer I knew he was the lawyer I needed. He immediately agreed that this was not acceptable and I could hear in his voice that he was outraged by what I was telling him. We showed up for a disciplinary hearing and after Scott spoke with the schools attorney they opted to cancel the meeting immediately and let my son return to school. Scott was able to get this incident removed off my sons record as well by investigating and outlining exactly what they did wrong in an appeal to the superintendent. Scott is professional and knows his stuff. He advocated for my son and was not afraid to go up against a school district as many other attorneys I spoke to were. I would highly recommend him .

Excellent Representation

Mr Limmer provided me with excellent representation in my disorderly conduct case. He explained the process to me from start to finish and negotiated a positive conclusion to my situation. I highly recommend him.

Excellent lawyer

I am a student who was falsely accused of a Title IX offense. At first, I thought I could handle the school’s procedures by myself without an attorney, but things started getting complicated. At that point, I knew I needed professional help. Even though I was falsely accused, the procedure needs an e...xpert to navigate through the school’s rules. Scott has confidence due to his experience in Title IX cases in other universities who all have different rules and procedures regarding Title IX. He is committed to his clients. He went to the school several times without me and knew every detail of my case. Scott was always available to answer my calls and text messages. He gave 110% into my preparation and defense hearing, and met with me several times to go over any questions and concerns my family and I had. He would listen to everyone’s thoughts and told us the right way to go about my case. As a student, I would highly recommend Scott for representation in any kind of defense and/or Title IX cases. I can not thank Scott Limmer enough for agreeing to represent me. Being in a situation like I was in was very stressful, but he pointed my family and I in the right direction for how to go about my incident. It was my pleasure writing this review.

"I endorse Scott Limmer wholeheartedly for not only his criminal defense knowledge, but his special education knowledge as well. In the time I have known Scott, he has been nothing short of insightful, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and professional. He is truly available for his clients or colleagues at all times, an incredible asset in this day and age. His CV will speak for him, but his background and experience are unparalleled as he specializes in two vital practice areas. His special education work is remarkably admirable, as he viciously advocates for his clients who are in desperate need of a helping hand in their quest to obtain a proper education. Frequently providing free knowledge/tips via his social media pages, he is an asset to the legal community. I would recommend him to anyone with a criminal or special education matter without hesitation."

One need only be in his presence when he speaks of his chosen vocation, and it is eminently clear that fighting for fairness and the rights of his clients is not a mere profession, but rather a calling to which Mr. Limmer has the highest level of passion I've witnessed in my 14+ years as a lawyer.
