Integrity, honesty and doing the right thing are the most important qualities that a human being can have and Mr. Schiffman has those qualities. Mr. Schiffman went be...yond his responsibility to help me and my family and anyone who has him as an attorney will know that he will always do the right thing no matter what. Mr. Schiffman never gives up and never backs down when he sees that something is not right. Anyone who has him as an attorney should know that they have a pit bull fighting for their cause because he never gives up no matter how difficult the circumstances are. I can assure from experience that anyone that has Mr. Schiffman as an attorney will be in good hands. An example of what i am talking about is after my mom has a massive stroke it was really hard to see the condition my mom was in since she was paralyzed and had to have a feeding tube inserted in her stomach due to the stroke. My mom suffered very much because of this massive stroke she had. Besides not being able to walk or eat from her mouth for over 3 years I had to watch helplessly as my mom would beg me for water all the time and i would not be able to give my mom water because it would kill her. My mom was able to speak but her speech was slurred. She could only get her water and food inside her stomach and not in her mouth. It costs a fortune to take care of a stroke victim especially a stroke victim that has a feeding tube. Long term care is a lot of money but long term care for a person on a feeding tube is the most costly and that is because most home care agencies will not send 24 hour care for someone on a feeding tube. So you are basically looking at a cost of $9,000 a month to care for someone on a feeding tube. For over 3 years you can see how much money that is. Having 24 hour care at home is a little less but still a lot of money when you consider you have to pay $1,000 per week for home care plus money for diapers, bed protectors, cream, gloves and other necessities to care for someone in that condition. I had to give up my salary and part of my savings in order to pay for this and I assure you that this cost a small fortune. This has taken a huge emotional and financial toll on me. The doctor who cared for my mom ignored my attorney after my attorney sent him letters to investigate if there was any wrong doing. But my lawyer never gave up and not only was the doctor found liable by a judge for what had happened to my mom - the doctor who cared from my mom and ignored my lawyer did not even show up to defend himself and he did not have any liability insurance. Most lawyers would have dropped my case as soon as they found out the doctor did not have insurance. But not Mr. Schiffman. It just shows the kind of character that Mr. Schiffman has. It would have been wrong to let the doctor off the hook and drop the case simply because he was irresponsible in practicing medicine without insurance.
