My brother and I used Edgar for our father’s estate and we would give him zero stars if we could. I asked him for an itemized bill since he charges by the hour (this is standard procedure in the legal world and suspect that he doesn’t do it) and he emailed me that it is not his practice to do itemize...d bills. He reluctantly agreed verbally to itemize the bills then reneged on it. When he finally “itemized” he lumped things together so they were not in fact itemized, for e.g. calls to our father’s broker totaled 10 minutes max according to the broker This is easily quantifiable but Edgar lumped it together with the filing fee which is not. We eventually felt so uncomfortable with Edgar’s billing practices we had to change him for another attorney mid stream.
