We hired Mr. Spivak to represent us in immigration court a few years back. It's been a long, multi-stage battle that is not over yet but I am really glad we hired Mr. Spivak to represent us. When we came to Mr. Spivak, we had already gone through a nightmare with two other "attorneys" who took ma...ssive amounts of our money and left us in a much worse position then when we started. When hiring him, we had already learned to be cautious but still, it's difficult to gauge the effectiveness of a professional until you have worked with them. So my family really wasn't sure if Mr. Spivak would cut it or would end up being a part of the nightmare of unscrupulous scam artist "attorneys." Well, let me tell you the good news: Lawrence Spivak has been great the whole way through, in every aspect! I am so happy we found him. He is passionate about his work and is very attentive to his clients. He always took the time to hear us out and to understand our case in great detail whenever necessary. Even though our case was very complicated on many levels, Mr. Spivak had no problem understanding it all and navigating through the thousands of pages of documents, and coming up with excellent merited arguments. This has resulted in excellent briefs filled with legitimate arguments and evidence, yielding us victories whenever the government decided to be just, fair and unbiased. Despite the fact that the government has been unprofessional towards us the whole way to say the least, Mr Spivak has retained his composure and dutifully continued to defend us in the best way I could conceive. He has always been very informative and responsive. We've never been in the dark with Mr. Spivak, unlike with some other attorneys we worked with. Mr. Spivak always explained to us the arguments of the government when we could not understand them, and informed us of the relevant law in our case. In terms of pricing, Mr. Spivak has been very reasonable with his rates and I have always been more than happy to pay him, especially after being accustomed with the full value of his expertise. I've never regretted working with Mr. Spivak and my only regret has been my inability to pay him double what he asks. This will not be my only review and I anticipate I will be coming back to update and expand my review after we are victorious on our main case.
