My husband hired Mr. Taylor and his Law Office in order to apply for an immigration visa for me. We both didn´t really have a clue what we had to do, which documents we needed and are therefore very thankful to have had a competent and knowledgeable Law Firm at hand, who stayed with us until my ...CR-1 visa has finally been approved. Especially, since our case wasn´t the easiest one and a lot of patience was needed. No matter how many questions or how often we asked one question over again, we always got a response soon after, sometimes even in minutes, and it always was helpful and good advice. Even though it was more than a little complicated at times (documents were hard to get in the countries I was working, the post office lost important documents, other documents got lost on other occasions etc.) they didn´t give up and more importantly kept us going as well. My only complaint is that once the application progressed to the overseas embassy/consulate, the information we received was not always up to date or specific to our country/situation. My husband and I worked with Marc Taylor's office (Maritza Diaz and Marc Taylor primarily, actually) to successfully get my husband's CR-1 visa to enter the USA. I am based in Georgia and Mr. Taylor's office is in New York, but my husband and I never had to visit the office in person -- we were able ...to complete all the paperwork over the phone/via email (except for the embassy visits my husband had to make in his home country, of course). I found Mr. Taylor's prices to be very affordable (I am a student, and budget is a big consideration), and I was able to get all the individualized feedback and answers to many questions I had about the paperwork in a timely, professional manner. This individualized feedback is the main reason I would recommend Mr. Taylor's office: I think I got good value for my money. I did end up preparing some of the paperwork myself, but I was always able to get someone at Mr. Taylor's office to instruct me in how to do so, and to check the final product for any errors before sending it in. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to try to immigrate to the USA or help a relative immigrate without the help of Mr. Taylor or a similar immigration lawyer -- you need an experienced, knowledgeable person to help you understand how to fill out the paperwork and conduct yourself during any interviews that will be held.
