Notably, Mr. Bolotin secured a client who pleaded guilty to participating in nearly a 1 million dollar mortgage fraud scheme to a one day time considered served sentence. Mr. Bolotin filed a motion to suppress nearly 7 million dollars worth of cocaine that convinced the prosecution to dismiss all charges without holding a hearing. Mr. Bolotin has also successfully argued appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and multiple state appellate courts.
Mr. Bolotin is reguarded as a highly respected expert in criminal law. Mr. Bolotin is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Illinois and before several federal trial and appellate courts, including the Northern District of Illinois prestigous Trial Bar and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Mr. Bolotin is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Federal Bar Association, New York State Bar Association,Illinois State Bar Association, and serves as a Critical Response Attorney for United States Concealed Carry Association members.
Mr. Bolotin graduated Valedictorian from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Before going into private practice, he secured prestigous externships for two federal judges in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. While attending John Marshall, Mr. Bolotin won a National Closing Argument Competition held at Harvard Law School. He was published by The John Marshall Law Review and also served on both the Law Review's Editorial and Moot Court's Honors Boards. Before attending law school, Mr. Bolotin received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island where he graduated summa cum laude and played four years of NCAA Division III Ice Hockey.
