Geaine Towers is an excellent lawyer
I came to Geanine Towers for the first time not knowing what to expect from her. I sat down with her to talk about my situation and was pleasantly surprised. She is fair, honest, straight forward and very knowledgeable when it came to my family court case. She has worked with me financially and I tr...
Dear Gina, We've had one more court date since you wrote this. The judge threw us a little hurdle, and I like the way you efficiently worked with me to handle that. Like almost all of my other clients, your understanding and acceptance of your responsibilities makes it easy for me to zealously safeguard your rights and advocate for your interests. Personally, you are a pleasure to be around, and I know how much you love and care for your children. The court is cognizant of the stark facts in this case, but is, as it should, exercising an abundance of caution instead of terminating, at your son's request, all contact with your adversary. The fact that you understand that, puts you far ahead of many others in the Family Court litigant population. Best, Geanine

Disagree completely!
I was floored when I read the above referenced review, it is the complete opposite of my experience with Ms. Towers. I have found her to be proactive in protecting the interests of her client, knowledgable in her area of practice, professional/polite in her dealing with her client and opposing clien...
Dear Matrimonial Client, Your attention to detail and your patient and stoic nature have made it a joy to work with you. We're in the thick of things now, and I do hope and anticipate that our honest efforts to negotiate these matters will be fruitful. Best Wishes, Geanine p.s. This client is referring to a poorly written blurb apparently written by a person who was not my client. The review appears below and not above hers. Mix family law and the "Wild West" of the Internet and these types of things can crop up.

review of competency
I'm writing this on behalf of Geanine Towers. She was recommended by a co-worker in Education who had gone through a divorce/separation. I found her experience in these matters invaluable since she had herself been recently divorced. Ms.Towers guided me through the particulars of the law that pertain...
Dear Charles, I was very happy to have worked with you. What impressed me most about you was your quick grasp of the legal concepts I explained to you, your personable and creative nature and the fact that as soon as you were able (and sometimes when you weren't!) you took care of your financial obligations to your daughter, and your fee to me. You never gave up, even when things got very tough. I am glad to have helped you through that difficult time. Best Regards, Geanine
"I endorse this lawyer. She is a hard working, intelligent and knowledgeable attorney who is tough but civil toward her adversaries."
"Geanine is an excellent criminal defense and family attorney. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and well respected in the legal community."
"I endorse Geanine. She is a highly skilled attorney in family and matrimonial appeals matters and she is well respected in the legal community. Geanine shared office space with me for approximately one year. She has been responsible for handling cases from inception to conclusion including negotiating successful resolutions for her clients."
"I was an Administrative Law Judge for the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission from 2004 to 2010. During that time Geanine was a mentor and at times supervisor. I endorse Geanine Towers because she is a zealous advocate who is committed to working in the public interest for families and children. Geanine has worked in the Family Court and at the Appellate Division, Second Department, as a Court Attorney to the judges. In legal matters Geanine is very analytical, with an ability to explain the law in plain English. Geanine is a skilled and experienced attorney and treats everyone with dignity and respect. If I had a family matter, I would hire Geanine."
"I endorse this lawyer. I developed a professional relationship with Geanine Towers through Avvo. I have read the advice she has given people with divorce issues on Avvo. Her writing is exceptional and her critical analysis of the issues is outstanding. I would highly recommend her to any person who is in need of a divorce attorney."
