Based upon joint custodial father's intransigence, mother moved child from Brooklyn to Washington D.C. in violation of custody order directing mother not to relocate with child more than 50 miles witho ... ut written consent of father. Moved for change of venue, sole custody, based on failure of any party to retain residence in New York. Facilitated settlement between parties resulting in averting sanctions and custody consequences for my client, the mother.

Husband/Father sought to better his position in a Settlement and Separation agreement vis a vis marital residence. Mother and adopted five year old child still remained there when this attorney was ret ... ained. Father had purchased marital residence, co-op over a decade previous to marriage, but marriage was of long duration and there was a child under 18.

Perfected an appeal which resulted in a reversal of a Family Court's decision dismissing grandparent visitation case without a hearing. Appellate counsel for the presentment agency conceded point that ... the hearing was denied based on an improper reading of a recent Appellate holding in the same matter.
