Geanine Towers was an absolute God send in my case. I found myself in desperate need of a lawyer after a family court referee erroneously dismissed my guardianship petition. The court referee was egotistical, condescending, and more concerned with shaming the child’s mother, my relative, rather tha...n considering the child’s welfare. I am a soft spoken individual and entered the court room completely unprepared to argue such a clean-cut case when the child’s welfare was clearly at stake, the mother was consenting, and I offered a stable loving home with absolutely no criminal background. I was in complete shock with the way the case unraveled, but my relatives still needed me so I began to search for an attorney that would be willing to help me get the decision over turned. Being from out of state, I resorted to calling/emailing numerous family law offices. A few responded to my calls/emails, but after I explained my situation none were willing to take on my case.
