Unless you can show that the suspension was discriminatory (due to your race, religion, age, etc.) then you do not have a claim for the suspension.

Generally, it is legal. However, audio recording is only legal if a person involved in the conversation is doing the recording.

In New York, you are an employee at will. that means your rate of pay can be reduced for any reason, as long as it is not a discriminatory one.

Unless your hair is dyed for a religious reason, then yes your employer can instruct you to change its color.
