I would strongly caution anyone considering this law firm. My experience resulted in substantial financial losses, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, which I believe were directly tied to how my matter was handled. Communication was inconsistent, and there appeared to be frequent staff tur...nover throughout my time as a client. That lack of continuity made an already complex situation more difficult to navigate. I encourage prospective clients to carefully review the firm’s history, client feedback, and staffing patterns before retaining representation. I obtained Mr. Barbara for a custody case. Jason Barbara has to be the biggest scam artist of all time. Charged me $7,500 to read papers and did nothing but harm my case. He kept on asking me questions in which he already had the answers to (everything was contained in the documents I sent him).... I'm thinking, your charging me $7,500 to read documents, and you never read them! He's a great performer. He'll get on the phone with the other lawyers in the case in front of you and grandstand like he has pull or something with the other lawyers in the case to get your case to go in the direction you want. He's not shy on letting you know who he knows. Which means garbage anyway, because it seems like the other lawyers don't have a high opinion of him. He's a very good actor in front of you, but a very poor lawyer. When in court, he doesn't perform. When it came time for him to speak out or fight allegations, he whimpered out in front of the judge and did nothing! Your lawyer is supposed to speak out for you and on your behalf. Jason Barbara was like a deer in headlights. This firm is very very very slow to act on anything. Several times, I went to the courthouse myself and filed papers because this firm was just too slow. Can you believe I had to do what I was paying this firm to do? Oh, but they make sure they consisently send you bills for reading documents. After they were fired, I asked for my case file. All they gave me back was copies of everything I supplied them with. I urge you, if you want a comptent lawyer, go elsewhere. Do not overlook this review. I overlooked the bad reviews I read on him and now I regret hiring him and all the time wasted that I can't get back. Good luck!

I hired Jason Barbara to handle my divorce. He passed it off onto one of his assistants who repeatedly asked me for paperwork I had already provided. Weeks would go by without any update on my case. I would have to call for updates but the bills come without fail. It's been 2 and a half years and my ...divorce is no closer to being resolved. The preliminary conference has been adjourned twice, maybe? I have to call and find out because this office can't be bothered to keep in touch with their client. Go elsewhere for your legal needs.

Jason Barbara is the WORST. Called his office to speak with him only to get bounced around from his Paralegals to his one assistant and was never given the same answer as to why he wouldn't take my call. Also needs to get his facts straight when working on divorce cases as he is completely clueless a...bout my case. When we finally spoke on the phone we was RUDE, INSULTING and CONDESCENDING. He spoke down to me about my divorce as if i know nothing about my own case??? He is some piece of work and i would not recommend him.
