David S. Dikman

I would absolutely recommend Mr. Dikman to anyone looking for a divorce lawyer. Going through a divorce can be extremely stressful, however from the very first email David and his assistant Tricia made this process easy. Mr. Dikman has been handing my divorce and child custody case for the past 2 yea...rs and it is finally coming to an end! David’s professional and calm personality helped put me at ease during some of the most overwhelming moments of this process. David is extremely knowledgeable, responsive and patient. He took the time to explain every aspect of what was to be expected, which allowed me to feel prepared for court. Overall, a great experience!

David was referred to me by a friend working in a prestigious law firm. I worked with David since 2017. He is simply the BEST matrimonial attorney in Nassau / Queens. Period. He is the most knowledgeable and honest lawyer I have ever known. As a boutique law firm, you only work with David, not with a...ny paralegal or junior lawyer. He handled my case extremely efficiently. He responded to my email and phone call instantly, even during the weekend/holidays. My case was complicated and he walked me through the entire process, motions, discovery, trial, post-trial motions, appeal. During the first couple years of this painful journey of divorce, grief was one of my closest companions. But I found comfort in knowing David always on my side to help me.

David Dikman came highly recommended by a co-worker. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism, interest in my concerns and staying focused on my wants and needs. The entire process took just over a year and a half. I am from the Bronx and David was willing and very able to appear in court whe...never the courts demanded. David never sends a para, he always appears himself and this was something i had inquired about when we first sat down. Now that my divorce is final and i am able to talk with my ex, we had conversations about information from our attorneys and it was very clear to me that i had the more experienced and detail oriented and knowledgeable of all the attorneys involved. David kept me informed literally the moment any interaction took place between the attorneys from both sides. Looking back and looking at all the emails that went back and forth i know i was the most informed of all defendants. We actually started a trial but thankfully it wasnt necessary to finish, and i owe it all to David as he had noticed there was an opportunity for me and my wife to talk and finish the whole thing and avoid more costs and questioning under oath. I was referred to David Dikman by a friend, and boy am I glad I retained him for both my divorce and a Family Court action. He helped me navigate the severely dysfunctional legal system we're stuck with in NY. He explained what could reasonably be done without sugar-coating things. You really need so...meone to "tell it like it is" in a divorce. Most lawyers will try to drag things out to run up the bill. Not David. He is tough, and will fight for you. He is extremely knowledgable, and that experience shows. When the going gets tough, you need someone like David to be in court with you. I recommend him highly. (BTW, his secretary, Paulette, is one of the nicest people you'll meet, especially in the legal field.)

I retained David as my lawyer after having a horrible experience with another lawyer who failed to keep me informed about what was happening in my case. I wasn't expecting much when i met David after my past experience but he not only met my expectations but exceeded them! He is extremely professi...onal and responsive. He notifies you about all aspects of the case at all times and advises you appropriately. He is calm and collective yet can be aggressive to the other party when necessary. The office staff is very kind yet professional as well. I am very lucky that I had David on my side during such a hard time in my life with divorce/custody case. He made the complicated issues very simple to understand and tried his best to keep it out of a judge's hands. I have recommended him to 2 others in the past who were very satisfied as well and will continue to do so to anyone in the future as well.
