I hired Jessica for a home closing based on my broker's recommendation. Initially it was a good sales pitch with what she would do for me. But a couple of things to be wary of if you end up working with her: - Hidden Pricing. Be sure to get her initial estimate in writing, with clarity on what ad...ditional fees she "may charge"; or be prepared for extra charges at your bill at closing. - Undisclosed Partners. She casually asks if she can "pull a title report" - and next thing you know there is a bill for many thousands of dollars that you are accountable for. - Unclear Knowledge. While many home contracts are boiler-plate, it's assumed that your lawyer knows them in and out. When asking her questions, she would often say " Oh this is standard", without really explaining what that meant. At my closing, there were multiple times she asked the sellers attorney for clarity in the contract, whereas she should know and be able to tell me.
