Janet Nina Esagoff

Admitted to NY practice and Eastern/Southern District (Federal Court) since 2009, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court since 2014, Janet Nina Esagoff is the Principal Attorney at the ESAGOFF LAW GROUP, P.C. She concentrates her law practice in the areas of Real Estate, Business Law and Civil Litigation including contract disputes, real estate claims, corporate and partnership disputes.

Prior to the law, Janet was the owner and operator of a retail/manufacturing fashion enterprise based on Long Island and Westchester County. Given her background as a successful entrepreneur, Janet is able to offer pragmatic business advice to her clients, often drawn from her own experience in the business world.

As a litigator, Janet also has extensive experience in foreclosure practice, loan modifications, and loan workouts as well as quiet title actions. She has successfully argued before the Second Dept., Appellate Division, a case that was published in the New York Law Journal.

Janet has been recognized for her career accomplishments, including being honored as a “Super Lawyer, Rising Star” every year since 2013, and published in the The New York Times in The Top Women Attorneys in New York section.

In 2017, Janet also became credentialed as Certified Life Coach. Janet also maintains her Real Estate Broker license and is very knowledgeable in all things pertaining to real estate, construction, and real estate management.

Janet also has experience in the classroom setting, as a Special Instructor at Hofstra Law School. In 2018, Janet was honored by Hofstra Law as an "Outstanding Woman in the Law".

Janet currently serves on several boards, including the Iranian American Bar Association- NY Chapter, since 2012.
