Martin T. Johnson

I was a client of Martin Johnson @ Johnson and Cohen. I was just about to post a review when I read this recent review in front of mine. This is clearly some disgruntled, unhappy person or an adversary of Mr. Johnson. This is not who Marty Johnson is. The rest of the reviews on this site are an acc...urate picture of who Marty Johnson is. My experience with Marty and his firm was that he is very organized, aggressive (when needed), prepared and responsible. All of my issues were not only addressed but resolved. Divorcing is not a great experience, but having Marty and his firm at my back, I was relieved and confident. The Courts / Opposing Attorneys can hold up proceedings with adjournments, etc. but that is no reflection on my attorney. Shame on the person who misrepresented him in their review. If you need a top notch attorney, Martin Johnson is the attorney for you.

Marty Johnson represented me in a matrimonial case for 18 months. This was a very challenging case which required a lawyer with vast experience and a solid understanding of matrimonial law. Marty was able to guide me through the legal issues of the case and consistently afforded me direct and clea...r answers to the questions I posed throughout the process.  Despite our best efforts to reach a settlement out of court, the ...matter was set down for trial. He successfully challenged the credibility of witness testimony and stated the facts in evidence clearly and precisely. Whether it was on direct, cross examination or re-direct, Marty maintained his professional demeanor. Furthermore, he exuded confidence without arrogance in his conveyance of the facts at every proceeding. Throughout the long and tedious legal process, Marty kept me apprised and discussed with me the legalities and proper courses of action to specific situations as they arose at various times during the proceedings. 

 You roll the dice taking matters to court and leave your fate in the hands of the justice system because you never know how the Court will rule. Courts do not rule with their heart. Courts rule based on facts in evidence and witness testimony. Through Marty's professionalism and litigation of the facts, we received the best possible outcome for my children and me. I put my faith in Marty and he renewed my faith in attorneys and the justice system. Marty is deserving of every accolade stated in this review and more. Divorce and custody battles are emotional roller coasters and I am proud to say that I had Martin Johnson in my corner every step of the way. A gentleman and a scholar . . . If you're looking for the best attorney to represent you, "hands down, it's Martin Johnson."

I used Marty Johnson in my divorce proceedings a few years ago. I was originally working with another lawyer and when I spoke with Marty he immediately saw loopholes and loose ends in the initial discussions with my ex's attorney that my original attorney had overlooked. Marty was smart, quick and ...truly understood my needs and eased any anxiety I had. He was in constant contact with me and his door was always open. As busy as he is I always felt like my case was important and a priority. In the end, Marty made sure that I got the most important thing to me through the whole nasty time....my son. He made sure that we were taken care of and that my son got EVERYTHING he needs, now and well into the future. Words cannot express my gratitude for his hard work.
