As one can imagine the process of buying your first home is a scary undertaking. My husband and I wanted to make sure we would select a great attorney to help us along the journey. After an extensive search and reading many reviews, we selected Peter and it turned out to be a great decision! From the... first point of contact with Peter we knew it was going to be the right fit. During the mortgage process a few issues with our lender came up but Peter acted quickly in advising us and was reassuring. Peter was prompt with all of his responses whether it was via email or by phone. At times he'd even respond before I got the chance to log out of my email account! Towards the nearing of our closing, the day before to be exact, things got interesting again with our lender but Peter was consistently there for us when seeking his advise. I was in need of a local NY attorney to represent me in a pending lawsuit but knew of none. I turned to the internet, was impressed with the reviews I read of Mr. Klose and reached out to him. When I received my invoices there was absolutely no ounce of fluff. When I made some suggestions I was surprised at some of his responses along the lines of "I can take your money but we don't have to do that"; Imagine that? More shocking came months later when he reached out to me suggesting that the case looks like it was going no further, which was a victory for me and therefore he should return the balance of my retainer. Again, imagine that? I received my bulk of my retainer. While I'm delighted and surprised that I did, I cannot emphasize enough, Mr. Klose's professionalism and communication with detail. Next time I need a lawyer, without hesitation, Mr. Klose is my lawyer.
