As one can imagine the process of buying your first home is a scary undertaking. My husband and I wanted to make sure we would select a great attorney to help us along the journey. After an extensive search and reading many reviews, we selected Peter and it turned out to be a great decision! From the... first point of contact with Peter we knew it was going to be the right fit. During the mortgage process a few issues with our lender came up but Peter acted quickly in advising us and was reassuring. Peter was prompt with all of his responses whether it was via email or by phone. At times he'd even respond before I got the chance to log out of my email account! Towards the nearing of our closing, the day before to be exact, things got interesting again with our lender but Peter was consistently there for us when seeking his advise. He is personable, professional, and understanding. We wholeheartedly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a real estate attorney.

We just closed on our first home. Mr Klose was our real estate attorney. He was very helpful and patient throughout the process and really took the time to explain all the legal stuff to us. In my opinion, Peter is everything a lawyer should be. Normally I would use my sister who's a real estate attorney in New Jersey to handle my real estate transactions, but alas she's not licensed in New York. Nonetheless, I chose to go with Peter over other local attorneys because of his expertise in... rental law (I'm purchasing a two family), positive reviews online, and having read some of his informative and well written articles that appeared in The Nyack Villager. I can say without a doubt that I made a prudent choice. Peter has been excellent throughout what I can only imagine has been a worst case scenario Real Estate wise. He has played the role of "Good Cop" in dealing with my extremely contentious mortgage company, is extremely quick to respond to email and phone inquiries succinctly, and has been very patient and knowledgeable in all aspects of a real estate transaction that has encountered numerous setbacks including a probate situation as the seller had passed before we were able to close. I wanted to find a reliable local attorney that was competent, competitively priced, and one I could trust. My search is over.
