In my opinion, Peter is everything a lawyer should be. Normally I would use my sister who's a real estate attorney in New Jersey to handle my real estate transactions, but alas she's not licensed in New York. Nonetheless, I chose to go with Peter over other local attorneys because of his expertise in... rental law (I'm purchasing a two family), positive reviews online, and having read some of his informative and well written articles that appeared in The Nyack Villager. I can say without a doubt that I made a prudent choice. Peter has been excellent throughout what I can only imagine has been a worst case scenario Real Estate wise. He has played the role of "Good Cop" in dealing with my extremely contentious mortgage company, is extremely quick to respond to email and phone inquiries succinctly, and has been very patient and knowledgeable in all aspects of a real estate transaction that has encountered numerous setbacks including a probate situation as the seller had passed before we were able to close. I wanted to find a reliable local attorney that was competent, competitively priced, and one I could trust. My search is over. He will have my continued business going forward ...All this, and a wonderfully dry sense of Humor through the whole process. THANKS PETER!!!

I had a non-paying tenant in a private home - everyone told me to not even bother with a lawsuit, that it would be tied up forever and not worth the cost. Luckily, I found this great lawyer who listened and knew the exact approach to take - which court to use, what tactics would work. The tenant t...hought it was all a joke and basically ignored all contacts and warnings until the sheriff delivered the eviction notice - then he decided to hire a lawyer. From there it was pretty much lawyer to lawyer, but Peter always kept me fully in the loop and asked what I wanted to do, gave good advice and recouped all unpaid rent, my attorney costs, court costs, etc.
