This lady represented me in 2008 and advised me to pled to a deportable crime without making me aware of the immigration consequences!!!! She doesn’t work with an immigration lawyer to help her clients however she is a ex DA that stills help poor immigrants to plea to deportable offenses!!!! She will... then say she advised you of the immigration repercussions when that would not have been the case!! You lady are a part of the system of deportation and imprisonment.

I am at the beginning stages of working with Yvonne Garbett, and I am so incredibly thankful I found her. My custody case is very complex with a lot of variables, and is definitely not a “run of the mill” scenario. Due to the situation, I specifically sought out someone with criminal and family law e...xperience. I’ve spoken to several lawyers over the last few years, and not a single one of them seemed to grasp the gravity of my case the way Yvonne did. She told me all the things I wanted to hear, and all of the things I didn’t want to hear about the possible outcomes of my case and the direction it could go. I will update this review when I am at the “end” of my case, but if you are looking for a lawyer with expertise, compassion, and an understanding of personality types and behavioral patterns - do not look any further. I am so thankful I found someone I can trust. Highly recommend.

If you dont read anything else of my review, read this.... It would BEHOOVE you to at least give Mrs. Garbett a call to discuss whatever issue you may have and just hear what she has to say about it. Its free to call and she might just be able to help you when NO other lawyer can. That is exactly wh...at happened to me. I met Mrs. Garbett at the worst time in my life, a midst a frantic search, calling every lawyer on google. I called approx 50 lawyers, some charging upwards of $30k and EVERYONE said my objective of keeping case in local court on such short notice was impossible. Not only did Mrs. Garbett see it as a simple task but had it done within an hour of our first conversation. On top of that, she got two felonies dropped to violations and kept my record in-tact. (rightfully so) and charged about 1/4 of the price of the most expensive lawyers I consulted. From our first conversation she put my mind at ease and took away my extreme stress. Mrs. Garbett clearly knows the system very well and all the people/ players within it and has been doing this a long time and her experience is evident. She is rea...lly so committed to her profession and I decided to hire her right away. She kept me well informed right from the beginning on what the repercussions could be and how to be proactive. This is truly amazing, that she has such profound, sound knowledge about the law. My wife and I were completely torn and I definitely did not want a DWI on my record. Yvonne was able to get me a disposition and reduce the charge to a DWAI which is non criminal and will show just as a violation. I cannot say, how thankful I am to her, since this could have affected my personal and professional career in a drastic way.
