Great Lawyer, Excellent Staff

I don’t really write reviews, however, in this case I will make an exception. Allen and his staff ensured my case went smoothly and that I received my court-ordered Chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge. Throughout, I appreciated his candor and knowledgeable expertise. To that end, I highly recommend Allen ...for your legal needs.

#1 BK Lawyer - 5 stars

If you have been limping along making minimum payments – please do yourself a favor and visit Allen Kolber. Allen is #1 BK lawyer in Rockland. Just fantastic. The minute you meet him, you will feel welcomed. You won’t regret it. Filing for BK is a hugely stressful experience but with Allen and his... team assisting you, the process was not as bad as we thought it would be. We were raised to pay our bills! No BK for us! In the meantime, we decimated our retirement savings staving off filing Chapter 7. Once we realized there was no way out, Allen was the man for the job! He not only gave us so much of his time, he gave us his stellar BK experience. He also fought 2 lawsuits and saved our home from credit card liens. We cannot say enough great things about Allen and his staff. Having worked in the legal field and being well versed around lawyers in general, we found Allen to be exceptional! He went over and above to get us out of the financial mess we found ourselves in, particularly after suffering serious health setbacks. As for Allen’s Staff: I cannot adequately praise the services provided by Sandy and Sylvia, his paralegals are ace #1! They know their stuff, they are patient, they always took our calls, answered emails, and graciously helped us go through the process. Allen has a huge box of tissues in his office and was so kind helping me wipe up my tears. His legal mind is top notch. His humanity is stellar. When you are his client, you are in excellent hands! Please don’t wait until there is little hope – go see Allen now and let him help you review your options. Whilst filing is stressful, once you come through the other side, you will be grateful. Allen, we are forever grateful to you, Sandy and Sylvia. You helped us turn our lives right side up again. All the best, Gone"Fishing"

Life Saver

Allen saved my life by helping me getting financially stable. The staff was very friendly helping and caring with each step of the process, after every meeting with Allen I felt that another stone was removed. If unfortunately, you find your self in financial crises Allen will be the best choice, ...having Allen on your side every step on the way makes it much easier and calms you down. Thank you Allen for your help.

Great Atty

I would definitely give Mr. Kolber a five star review. He is very knowledgeable about the areas of law that he practices, and Equally as important he’s very accommodating to his client. He is always ready to answer any and all questions, return phone calls and guide you on a path to achieve the resul...ts that you want. The law can be very tricky and confusing to the average person. Picking a lawyer with the knowledge experience and care, as Mr. Colbert has is extremely important. Jeff. Suffern, NY

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have worked with Allen A. Kolber, Esq. for over six years, first as adversarial attorneys on opposing sides in litigation, then as a colleague on many cases. Although I am a general practitioner specializing in real estate, family law, general business law and estate planning, I refer clients who are facing foreclosure or other financial problems to Allen Kolber, Esq. I know that he is specialist in Bankruptcy law and has been practicing bankruptcy law for over 15 years. He is not one of the many attorneys who are now first entering the field of bankruptcy law to take advantage of the current economic crisis, and are hurting their clients as a result. Mr. Kolber is very conservative and diligent, and will only file a bankruptcy case for a client if that client absolutely requires the bankruptcy to resolve his or her financial issues. Many times Mr. Kolber will recommend that a client not file for bankruptcy when it is not warranted. I know Mr. Kolber to be a highly ethical an"
