If you dont read anything else of my review, read this.... It would BEHOOVE you to at least give Mrs. Garbett a call to discuss whatever issue you may have and just hear what she has to say about it. Its free to call and she might just be able to help you when NO other lawyer can. That is exactly wh...at happened to me. I met Mrs. Garbett at the worst time in my life, a midst a frantic search, calling every lawyer on google. I called approx 50 lawyers, some charging upwards of $30k and EVERYONE said my objective of keeping case in local court on such short notice was impossible. Not only did Mrs. Garbett see it as a simple task but had it done within an hour of our first conversation. On top of that, she got two felonies dropped to violations and kept my record in-tact. (rightfully so) and charged about 1/4 of the price of the most expensive lawyers I consulted. From our first conversation she put my mind at ease and took away my extreme stress. Mrs. Garbett clearly knows the system very well and all the people/ players within it and has been doing this a long time and her experience is evident. I had a DWI and was looking for an experienced, talented attorney in the Rockland County area. Her name came up in the search and there were great reviews about her on Avvo. I immediately setup a consultation and she agreed to it even on a Saturday, which happened to be her Son's birthday. She is rea...lly so committed to her profession and I decided to hire her right away. She kept me well informed right from the beginning on what the repercussions could be and how to be proactive. This is truly amazing, that she has such profound, sound knowledge about the law. My wife and I were completely torn and I definitely did not want a DWI on my record. Yvonne was able to get me a disposition and reduce the charge to a DWAI which is non criminal and will show just as a violation. I cannot say, how thankful I am to her, since this could have affected my personal and professional career in a drastic way. Once again, I thank her from the bottom of my heart and for anyone who needs the best, if at all there is one, I will bet all my money on her.

I was very satisfied with Ms. Garbett. We hired her for my one son and then needed her a year later for my other son. She listened to our concerns as parents and both cases resulted in non criminal dispositions so their records were protected! One was a felony, so we were really happy. Both kids ...are on the right track - thanks to Ms Garbett-really. If he got a felony - his future would be limited. I would recommend her to my friends and family! I pray that we don't need her again but I have peace of mind that if we do - we have a great attorney in our corner.
