Christine was referred to me a couple of months ago by a mutual Facebook friend. Although her legal advice was textbook, her way of delivering that advice to someone going through a divorce was abysmal. As a business owner where I stage properties for sale and I have over 12 homes worth of couches, c...hairs, dining tables, art, decor etc… she actually had the audacity to ask if I could store my furniture in my garage (which I don’t have) to save money on warehouse rent. At times I felt she berated me, talked down to me and made me feel worthless. When I told her the terms I wanted to communicate to opposing counsel and the amount I *wanted* from my ex husband for spousal support she argued with me and said it wasn’t enough. If you’re looking for an attorney to take a more sensitive, less rigid/stubborn approach with you in your filing for divorce then Christine is not for you. I don’t doubt that in some cases Christine may be a good fit for some, but for me - my ex husband and I nearly stopped speaking with one another because of how contentious it was getting. Sometimes taking a bipartisan approach to mediating a divorce and the path of least resistance is ultimately the best path forward and it doesn’t always have to be a Game of Thrones-esque battle to the death. And her hourly was $100 higher than another attorney I was considering and in this instance I didn’t get what I paid for.

I was referred to Christine 3 years ago when I decided it was time for a divorce & I have to say it was the best divorce attorney referral I could've gotten! I had no idea what to expect being I had never gone through a divorce before. From the beginning Christine treated me & my son like priority ...& as we meant something to her, not just another dollar sign. Because I owned a business, my ex & her attorneys tried to come after everything. Christine did not let that happen! I highly recommend Christine Wienberg Law Office for any family court matters you may have. I probably have one of the worst toxic high conflict cases. I consulted with over a dozen attorneys, and some attorneys would not touch my case with a 10 foot pole, while I felt others were not capable of ha...ndling the case. Ms. Wienberg met with me, and truly tried to wrap her head around the 10 years (yes I said 10 years) of previous litigation. After I met with Ms. Wienberg twice, I realized she had basically memorized my case, and questioned me quite deeply into parts of my previous litigation that did not make sense. Moving forward with my current issues, Ms. Wienberg’s office drafted excellent petitions based in facts, where the other party’s petitions were merely fictional story telling. My petitions showed the extensive lies the other party put forth, and was able to do this through just the petitions. When Ms. Wienberg shows up to court, she shows up prepared. She spends a lot of time with you so she can be your mouthpiece, even when you don’t have the words. Since my case started over 10 years ago, it started due to domestic violence (emotional and mental abuse). Without the physical scars; the other party downplayed the extent in which the abuse damaged me and my children. Ms. Wienberg actually listened and I felt seen and believed for the first time since my nightmare started.
