I consulted with over a dozen attorneys, and some attorneys would not touch my case with a 10 foot pole, while I felt others were not capable of ha...ndling the case. Since my case started over 10 years ago, it started due to domestic violence (emotional and mental abuse). Without the physical scars; the other party downplayed the extent in which the abuse damaged me and my children.
