Strong, Compassionate and Truly Skilled

The day I walked into Chris’ office for a consultation, I was emotional, overwhelmed, and unsure of how I’d ever get through what was ahead. She met me with calm confidence and told me something I’ve carried with me ever since: Take baby steps. That advice became a lifeline — not just in my divorce, ...but in every hard moment since. My divorce was long, complex, and painful. Chris’ tenacity, deep knowledge of the legal system, and steady guidance gave me the clarity I needed to move forward. She always told me the truth — not just what I wanted to hear — and made sure I understood each part of the process. That alone built a trust I never took for granted. Because of her, I was able to focus on showing up for my son during one of the hardest chapters of my life, knowing I had someone incredibly capable and committed in my corner. I recommend Chris wholeheartedly. She is a rare combination of brilliance, strength, and compassion — and I’m endlessly grateful to have had her by my side.

Waste of money

Christine was referred to me a couple of months ago by a mutual Facebook friend. Although her legal advice was textbook, her way of delivering that advice to someone going through a divorce was abysmal. As a business owner where I stage properties for sale and I have over 12 homes worth of couches, c...hairs, dining tables, art, decor etc… she actually had the audacity to ask if I could store my furniture in my garage (which I don’t have) to save money on warehouse rent. At times I felt she berated me, talked down to me and made me feel worthless. When I told her the terms I wanted to communicate to opposing counsel and the amount I *wanted* from my ex husband for spousal support she argued with me and said it wasn’t enough. If you’re looking for an attorney to take a more sensitive, less rigid/stubborn approach with you in your filing for divorce then Christine is not for you. I don’t doubt that in some cases Christine may be a good fit for some, but for me - my ex husband and I nearly stopped speaking with one another because of how contentious it was getting. Sometimes taking a bipartisan approach to mediating a divorce and the path of least resistance is ultimately the best path forward and it doesn’t always have to be a Game of Thrones-esque battle to the death. And her hourly was $100 higher than another attorney I was considering and in this instance I didn’t get what I paid for.

WONDER WOMAN!!!

I was referred to Christine 3 years ago when I decided it was time for a divorce & I have to say it was the best divorce attorney referral I could've gotten! I had no idea what to expect being I had never gone through a divorce before. From the beginning Christine treated me & my son like priority ...& as we meant something to her, not just another dollar sign. Because I owned a business, my ex & her attorneys tried to come after everything. Christine did not let that happen! Her experience, drive & tenacity showed every step of the way & stopped them at just about every turn they took. I had some rough times dealing with things & she always had a way of calming me down. She made sure I got 50/50 custody of my son & that my ex did not get even close to what she was trying to take from me. It became a side joke between Christine & I that she was so tough & incredible at what she did she earned the nickname "Wonder Woman" lol. Look no further, because she is the best of the best!

Finally a lawyer who cares for all aspects of your case

I received an appearance notice from Support Court filed by my ex husband in April 2018. I was not feeling the best as I have in the past, as I had been diagnosed BRCA2 positive in June 2017 and had undergone 3 major prophylatic, life saving surgeries 10.18.17, 4.9.18 and 4.16.18. Getting a n...otice to appear in support court was the last thing I needed in the midst of my recovery! I didnt know where to turn, so I looked up other Mom's experiences in "Orange County Moms" facebook group. Time and again I kept seeing Christine's name as "bulldog, will fight for you, really cares." I had my consultation with her and it was everything I needed! In an hour, I filled her in on the past 17 years of my divorce and what has transpired, especially since 2015, when my life really changed due to a career move meant to give better opportunities to my children. Court was 2 hours away for me, in an area that she doesnt normally travel to. She reviewed via email the prior orders and told me specifically what to do/say in court. I had my court date Wed June 20th... reiterated EXACTLY what Christine told me to say... and the case was DISMISSED! Exactly what I needed at a fraction of the cost. A lesser lawyer wouldve taken the retainer and charged the travel fees. Christine kept saying to me, "Are you sure you want to retain me? The travel fee is alot." Im so grateful for the care, compassion, integrity and intelligence that Christine helped me through in the most vulnerable time in my life... both mentally, emotionally and physically. Thanks to her, I got exactly what I needed!

A very strong advocate for clients!

Christine Wienberg was my attorney for 3 years during a post-Judgment matter with my ex-husband. During that time, she never faltered in her determination to see justice done. She dealt with all the paperwork and pleadings in an extremely timely manner; represented me strongly and intelligently in ...court; and never stopped being my biggest advocate and cheerleader even when I felt discouraged. Christine was respectful, kind, and compassionate, as well as very smart and persistent. I am grateful for all her hard work on my behalf. I highly recommend Christine Wienberg without reservation for any aspect of family or divorce law.
