Best legal experience during the worst chapter of my life
I'm not the type of person to write reviews as I consider myself pretty low key.  However, when it comes to Lauren I knew I had to let the world know about her because that is the very least I can do to show my gratitude for everything she has done for me.   Prior to meeting/hiring Lauren, I was going through one of the most painful chapters in my life.  My ex fled with my child, lodged multiple false accusations against my family and me, and completely limited my access with my child. After what felt like a lifetime of non-stop accusations, I found Lauren and she really came to the rescue.  In the first 3 months alone she was able to do more for me than all my 3 prior attorneys did in one year.  Lauren was always available,  always empathetic and always ready to answer any questions or concerns I had.   I went from being deprived months without seeing my child at all to now sharing custody as close to equal that far exceeded my expectations.  What I appreciate about Lauren is that she's extremely knowledgeable and compassionate.  She keeps a cool head and is always present. She doesn't take this as just a job but really invests her time to know her client and she makes a genuine and conscious effort to do the right thing and make a material difference in someone's life as she did with mine.  Fast forward 2 years later, my entire case is coming closer to an end and I have more optimism than I ever thought imaginable.  I no longer wake up every morning fearing the worst.  I have my son.  I have meaning and purpose and my life is back on track.  I now see the light at the end of the tunnel and I would not be where I am if it weren't for Lauren's professionalism, support and guidance. Custody dispute and international relocation.
I hired Lauren while going through a unpleasant custody dispute with my ex husband. It was a stressful and scary time for me, but I found solace in Lauren. She was able to not only bring my situation to a complete satisfactory ending, but she was able to calm my fears and keep me sane along the way. Lauren was quick to respond to calls and emails, never leaving me to wonder, and above all else she is incredibly knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. She took my case on like it was her own. By the end of my trial she knew more about my life than I did. She will tell you exactly where you stand and what direction you should go. Lauren is not only professional but compassionate and trustworthy. Competent, efficient, and compassionate
I would give Lauren a 100 stars if I could. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law and efficient at navigating the court system. Divorce/my happily ever after
I don't write many reviews for anyone or anything. I am compel to write this one. It is so important to be comfortable and confident in your attorney. That is how I felt throughout the 2 year process. That length of time had nothing to do with Lauren Michaeli. From start to finish, it was like speaking to a friend I knew for years and with the utmost professionalism. She was excellent at answering any and all my questions (in a timely manner) negotiating, and moving the process along. I have a few friends who went through a divorce and their lawyer went MIA (missing in action) They could not get any answers. I never once had that problem. If anyone has to go through this process, Lauren Michaeli doesn't add to your stress. She makes it, as painless as I guess it could be. I would recommend her anytime!!

Grateful!
I was in an abusive relationship and Lauren stepped in. She guided me through the entire court process. I am grateful that she patiently work alongside me to handle everything with order for protection, divorce, and settlement. Sometimes people need individuals that revolve around the world or the law, which we think we know. I am not from that realm! Yet, I'm grateful she was there for me. I needed her help, I received her help, and in the future, I know I will need her help! She is someone to trust and appreciate. I am simply a client, not an employee. Complex Paternity and Child Support Case

Lauren Michaeli saved my life !
This is the first time I’ve ever written a review in my life. It’ll probably be different from most others ;so pay attention. In 2011 I began a 7 year court battle nitemare of custody and child support with my ex wife involving my then 15 year old son. After 6 years of dealing with corrupt judges , lying witnesses , crooked cops , and three unethical money grubbing parasites who called themselves attorneys , I was at the end of my rope , and in an extremely dark place. I had also gone thru tens of thousands of dollars. Then I called Lauren in early 2017. I won’t go into details about my case but within 60 days she had resolved all the problems that others couldn’t do in the last several years. She’s not only a brilliant attorney but one of the kindest honest people I’ve ever met. A truly beautiful human being. I was brought back from a deep dark place to begin living my life again. To this day Lauren is still my attorney and also a great friend and I can never thank her enough.

Lauren is amazing
I hired Lauren after unsuccessful and outrageously expensive litigation of many years with another attorney; I feel very fortunate that Lauren has taken me under her wing. She has been a great ally to have in my day-to-day challenges of dealing with an impossible ex, always responsive, always kind, compassionate and able to see the big picture when I sometimes cannot. She has led me to the end of a custody portion of my trial and has worked with me through all the challenges of this highly unpleasant process. A nightmare with a happy ending
On July 2016 the mother of our 6th month old twins boys did the unthinkable. She created an alleged situation about my parents and I and had all three of us served with a protection order with a stay away. Which eventually turned into one of the worse experience a first time father could never imagine. Lauren was recommended to us by John Farrauto who is one of three partners of her Firm. Upon meeting Lauren she quickly created a case and assured me that I will be a father to both my sons after all is said and done. Lauren is a compassionate, empathetic attorney who is protective of her clients. Her willingness to make right of an unjust situation is comforting, making a long custody battle seem shorter than it really is. Her qualifications are clearly displayed on the walls of the office she resides in, reassuring you that you're investing in an extremely intelligent attorney and not some ambulance chaser looking for a dollar. During our 11 month battle in an out of court, supervised visits, protection orders, and an emotional rollercoaster that would break an average human being, Lauren didn't quit, she kept pushing our demands and not settling until we in fact felt what was being offered was fair. In the end what was promised to me did In fact came to be. My two children and I have the relationship I have dreamt of since the day their were born. Lemonade from Lemons
Going through a divorce isn't easy. It's expensive, scary and you don't know who you can trust. I lucked out having Lauren represent me. She knows the law, doesn't waste time and she is a good person as well. She got me through all the hurdles with as little hassle as possible. A fabulous attorney
Lauren helped us go through a few trying custody and financial battle. She was always available and was so incredibly patient in dealing with the barrage of emails and panicked phone calls. Lauren diffused a very tense relationship between the initial opposing attorneys. She came on the case later and helped to move things along without as much drama. Lauren was able to negotiate an excellent settlement for us. We couldn't have been happier having Lauren represent us. If we have to go back to court, we will most certainly be calling Lauren to represent us again.

A True Professional
Getting divorced has been one of the hardest and most trying times in my life. While I'm not going to write about the ins and outs of my particular case, I will say this: it's complicated. Luckily, I have a lot of very good and competent people in my corner who have supported me along the way. One of those is Lauren Michaeli. I have seen friends and co-workers get divorced. None of them had any recommendations when it came time for me to "lawyer up". I, on the other hand, have recommended both Ms. Michaeli and Mr. Penichet over and over again and my case isn't even settled yet. I can honestly say that no matter what happens I know I had the best representation I could possibly receive. The level of care and effort put in by Ms. Michaeli will never be forgotten, but really it was the compassion and human approach to her work that impressed me the most. As a police officer I have seen my fair share of lawyers, but few that have the mettle Ms. Michaeli has shown over the past year.
