My background includes hosting "Radio Lawyer" and writing the newspaper column "Please Be Advised".  I am co-author of "Divorce Q&A: Answers to Questions About Divorce, Equtable Distribution, Maintenance, Custody and Child Support" (rev. 2013).

I am an experienced mediator and arbitrator, having served as a member of the arbitration panels of the New York City Civil Court and the American Arbitartion Association. I have been continuously listed in "Who's Who in American Law" since 1983.

Exceptional Attorney!

A competent lawyer with a sense of humor
I've been through a divorce and know how rough it can be through the process. Had I known Steven then as I do now, he would have been the lawyer for me. I recently asked him for some legal advice regarding my separation agreement and his advice was very sound and thoughtful. In addition, his levity makes you remember the important things in life. I will not hesitate to hire Steven for any further family legal matters!

Steven Levine, the other attorneys at the firm, and the support staff are amazing. They have the expertise and the experience I needed. They made me feel that they really understood me as well as my case and kept me informed every step of the way. Mr Levine was very accessible by phone. HIRE MR. LEVINE IF YOU WANT GREAT RESULTS!
I find Mr. Levine to be wonderful! Divorce is difficult enough and you are in capable hands! His associates and staff are just as knowledgeable. You are made to feel comfortable in his office. Mr. Levine is genial with clients and fierce with his opponents. I would highly recommend his services.

Genuine, Trustworthy, Accommodating, Non-intimidating
Never having had to hire a lawyer before and not being familiar with law, I found working with Steven very non-intimidating and easy. He made me feel very comfortable every step of the way. He answered all my questions without hesitation and was patient if I needed further explanation on certain matters. I highly recommend Steven. Steven and his team were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. His years of experience definitely shine through with his knowledge and execution. He has a very genuine character and is an overall good person.

Steven Jon Levine is the most trustworthy, honest, and compassionate attorney - who gets things done.
Mr. Levine handled a highly volatile and delicate post divorce case for me that dealt with child custody and other complexities. Mr. Levine got me custody of my 12 year old daughter - and was able to make it happen with the most efficient use of time. Mr. Levine has the kindest demeanor, and is very compassionate when it is most needed. But also please know that when it was time to get serious with the other attorney he clearly demonstrated that he was in charge and there would be no time wasting tactics that had been utilized for the 8+ years this had played out for me and my family before Mr. Levine entered the case. Not only will my family be forever indebted to the miracle he pulled off of getting me my daughter, his name will forever be remembered going forward. The strongest review for Mr. Levine will not come close to how good he and his staff really is. I hope I was able to accomplish this to some degree here.

Steven and his office handled my divorce case. They were all professional, patient , kind and knowledgeable about all the situations relating to my divorce. They got back to me quickly with the information I asked for, especially important to me when I was upset and unsure of my legal rights. My settlement was more positive for me and my children because of his expertise in divorces law. I have recommended him to people I know looking for a divorce lawyer.
