Attorney Claudia Pollak is an excellent professional who not only met my every need, but quickly achieved a better result for me than I could ever have hoped. I was in sore need of a good tax lawyer, as I was despairing over ever getting my confusing tax issue settled. I had hoped that, in the end, Claudia would be able to stop the Dept. of Taxation's intimidating letters and set me up with an installment payment plan which I could manage. But what she did was much better: with her years of experience, her great knowledge, and her skill at navigating the labyrinth of NY State tax law, she managed more than an installment plan: she managed to secure a zero-debt result for me!! She was able to work with the NY State Dept. of Taxation and prove that I should be absolved of all liability and indeed, in full compliance with the laws of NY State, the matter was resolved without my paying a cent. I am now tax-debt free, and I can sleep at night. I owe it to Claudia, who is a brilliant lawyer. I truly feel that she makes each client feel as if he is her only client. She certainly made me feel that way. I kept waiting for the hard-edged, dismissive, and rushed minimal attention which I had experienced with other attorneys, but Claudia was always patient, thoughtful and kind. But when she is fighting for you and your rights in court or helping you resolve a tax levy or property seizure, there is no one more zealously active or more vocal and more strong a defender of you and your rights. With me, she was always kind and considerate. But when representing me in legal proceedings she proved to be fearless and strident: she took on the NY State Dept. of Taxation and won! If there is a successful lawyer who is good and has a heart like that too, one would be silly to go anywhere else for legal representation! She is that good, that smart, and that nice. And on planet earth, it never gets any better than that combination.
