Esther E. Mildner

I recently referred Esther Mildner to a client for representation for a home purchase. I was surprised when my client said Esther's on line reviews didn't give him the confidence to retain her. I just reviewed my records to find that since 2000 Esther has represented about 15 of my clients, some of t...hem multiple times. Hired her for a real estate closing. She was sloppy with typos and poor basic arithmetic in the draft contract. She was reluctant to ask for money after we did our walkthrough b/c we noticed bad paint jobs in patched areas. I felt she doesn't really fight for you as a client and puts in as little tim...e as possible.

I've worked with Esther on about 20 deals over the past 4 years and I can't say enough good things about her. I've worked in the title insurance business for the past 14 years and know a good real estate attorney from a bad one. Esther is diligent, hard working and there is nothing she hasn't seen ...or done. She is very well known in her community and a complete pleasure to work with. I would recommend Esther to anyone looking for a good real estate attorney.

Esther was hired to do our closing. What a disaster she was. She had the file for four months but didn't figure out there was a problem with the title for three months. She then told us it was all worked out and everything would go forward as it should. Come to the closing to find out she lied to us ...and it wasn't fine, that they were going to hold $10,000 until it was cleared us. She told us we would have the money within a few weeks. It took four and a half months and multiple calls and threats of filing a complaint for us to get our money. She never returned emails or calls. I can't say strongly enough do not hire her
