Nelson De La Cruz

Gave 1 star beacuse I cannot select 0. This office have an attoney named Nelson De La cruz working for the company Weisman law grupo with #+1-516-701-3969 which don't complete the job at all. I filled a divorce on June 2024 and he has not submitted any documents to the court, don't reply to my email...s and left with my money. How can a an attorney still be working like this PLEASE SER FOR YOUR SELF JUST BY PUTING THE NAME OF NELSO DELA CRUZ ON GOOGLE WILL TELL YOU SO MUCH ABOUT THIS MAN, I REGRET GIVING YOU NELSO MY INFOMATION AND THUST

Nelson is probably the worst lawyer you could possibly hire. I started this divorce/custody process over two years ago. This guy is unresponsive and doesn’t get anything done on time. I’ve been told from the opposing party on numerous occasions that Nelson was either late or didn’t show for court dat...es. Half the time when I find something out it from the other party. My last court hearing was earlier this month and Nelson was trying to have me sign stuff hours before the court hearing. My next court hearing is next month and now his email and phone are not working. Save your money and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GUY.

CAT Law Office, hired this attorney as an Independent contractor. He worked with us only for a day and a half and submitted a bill of $3600.00 for his hours for a particular client and additional amounts towards expenses including Uber reimbursements. He was very well made aware of the fact that this... client is struggling to pay and has paid our office only $4000. This attorney exhausted the entire over a period of one single day. Some of the work done was not very necessary. We did let him know that we have scheduled his payment but he would need to be a bit patient until the bank can process it. We further had to talk to the client regarding this exceptionally high bill. Since then, this attorney has simply been condescending, arrogant and has tried to put undue pressure on us(by threatening us constantly) so that he's paid immediately. In our opinion he does not care about a client at all and all he is interested is the money!! This client is a domestic violence victim with a child and makes very little money. As an employer, hiring Nelson was a terrible decision. He does not extend basic common courtesies. I would not advice other attorneys to work with Nelson or clients to retain him.

Hired him for a divorce in 2021, it’s 2024. Months turned into Years of trying to call, email, and request my money back. I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior/treatment from an attorney, you hire lawyers when you need help and trust they’ll do their job. I live in another state as well so it’...s quite impossible to know what my next steps to circumvent finalizing my divorce another way is. Nelson promised to take care of me. Nothing but a financial and emotional nightmare.

I’ll be totally honest with you guys I’ve never met a lawyer, that actually fought for his client as if it was his family member, or better yet as if he was fighting for his own freedom . This man is nothing short of amazing at his job & he definitely knows the law inside out . I wouldent recommend p...utting my money in anyone’s hands if it’s not Nelson de La Cruz . Not to mention he’s affordable & willing to work with you . At the time I first retained him I was incarcerated in federal jail on charges of racketeering conspiracy & extortion conspiracy held without bond . Within 30 days of Nelson bein my lawyer he was able to secure me a bail & get me back home to my family . Throughout the duration of the case Nelson’s communication with both me and my loved ones was always priority and we loved that about him . His knowledge and his delivery with what he brings to the table as an attorney makes him that much more valuable to you as his client & of course to your case furthermore, securing the BEST possible outcome . In conclusion with my criminal history bein very extensive & other factors ( such as evidence against me ) I did ultimately decide to pled guilty. But the fight did not stop there with Nelson . Through motions filed & countless hearings he was able to secure me a beyond favorable plea deal . I was facing a maximum of 40 years in prison, I ended up with a 2 year prison sentence & NO restitution ! I really can’t stop thanking Nelson De La Cruz I strongly recommend him to anyone fighting a criminal case .
