His practiced closed down in both Grand Rapids, Michigan and Bronx, New York. I first spoke to Wayne, a few years back via telephone, regarding a simple family court matter in Bronx, NY. By the end of the call he was hyperventilating urging me come pay a retainer. Needless to say, once the retainer ...was paid it was more than difficult to get Wayne, on the phone, let alone in person. Wayne's modus operandi, was to pawn his clients onto newbie attorneys, fresh out of law school. These youngsters against the wishes of clients constantly asked the court for adjournments because Wayne was unavailable. Well, he was unavailable because he had another practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Who ever heard of such a thing? This was never disclosed to me at the time I entered into a retainer agreement with him, if so, I never would have hired him and I'm sure many feel the same. Crowe, did his clients a disservice with his lack of honesty and unprofessionalism which I'm sure contributed to the closing of his practice at both locations.

Mr. Crowe sounds like a very proficient attorney and that cupped with his low ball starting* retainer fee will get you just like it did me. This is one of the biggest regrets I hold in my life! as a mother of 3 and victim of narcisistic abuse I thought my case wouldnt require much work, so I opted f...or the most economic retainer fee, Mr. Crowe. Biggest mistake of my life! he didn't even show up to one of my three court hearings with this firm before I hired someone else. and the attorney he sent on his behalf Richard Arce was so unprofessional and unprepared as well as uncaring, words simply can not describe it. Within the second court hearing I lost full custody of my children and was forced to only see them three times a week with one dinner visit. I have a very good career, I do not use drugs or alcohol, I have been a very good and active parent since the day I became a mother. This went on for almost 2 years because of the pandemic. after the initial retainer of 4500, after the second hearing he asked for a second retainer of 4500 claiming that all of the first one had been used. when I fired him, and try to get what remained in my account he almost robbed me for 3500 $ if I had not carefully reviewed the statements. In conclusion my recommendation to anyone in need of an attorney is to do your homework very well before you retain anyone as well as to not to try to go with the most affordable person because in the end it will cost you more. I am currently awaiting trial, we currently have 50/50, my children have suffered tremendously, and I have spent over 38k dollars with no ending in sight.
