Daniel Flanzig

A couple of years ago, I was involved in an accident while biking to work. The driver of a vehicle parked on the side of the road didn't check his mirrors before opening his door, and so when he swung the door open, it struck me and knocked me into another vehicle on the road. I fractured my hand and... eventually needed to have surgery. At the time of the accident, I did what anyone in that situation should do: I gathered information, found witnesses, snapped some photos of the scene of the accident, got a police report, and made sure to go to the hospital in an ambulance just in case I had unknowingly injured my neck, head, or back. However, I still needed to find a good lawyer to make sure that my (extensive) bills and other costs would be covered, because I have never battled an insurance company before and worried that they would try to avoid fault. I was severely injured, and had to be t...aken from the scene by an ambulance. The cab driver didn't didn't stay to talk to police. No police report was filed.
