Experienced Collaborative Family Law Attorney & Mediator/ Writer/ Speaker
I am the principal of Vacca Family Law Group a boutique family law firm in New York City that works exclusively with couples who want to stay out of court when dissolving their marriages and relationships.
By working within the collaborative law process and mediation, I help my clients to end their relationships without destroying their families.
I enjoy working with clients who have complicated financial issues and who are willing to find creative win/win solutions.
I strongly believe in the team approach to divorce that includes using financial professionals and divorce coaches to help resolve the financial and emotional issues that inevitably arise when relationships are ending.
In addition to working as a mediator, I represent clients as their consulting attorney before and during the mediation process.
I draft, negotiate and review prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements.
I write and lecture regularly about my areas of practice and I am always learning new ways to be better at what I do.
I am interested in positive psychology and the concept of focusing on strengths as a way to help people thrive.
There is life on the other side of divorce. I’m committed to helping my clients get to that other side with as little damage as possible so that they can create the life that they want.
