A great professional lawyer

He gave me a great advice and I didn’t have to pay him for the time he was consulting me and he gave me a great attorney to help me out with my case!

great lawyer

Mr . Howley is very ethical and dedicated attorney. Without going into case details I can definitely say that it was a blessing to have John representing me in the government investigation.

Lawyer who uses wisdom and heart

Atty. John Howley extended me the importance and respect every client could only wish for from his or her attorney. He presented me all my legal options and rights and explained clearly, with no pressure at all, which one was best for me. After he successfully handled my case, I couldnt help but stay... in touch. He is no longer my lawyer...he is now a lifetime friend and ally. I thank God I got to know him.

The best there is

When i first retained Mr.Howley i wasn’t really sure what i was getting into. I was scared and didn’t know what to expect with my case. But he reassured me that everything was going to work out. My case took a turn for the worst but Mr. Howley was there doing everything he could to be there for me. He... walked me through the process step by step. He was very attentive and no matter how busy his day was he made me feel like i was his only client and i appreciate that so much. Coming to the end of my case Mr. Howley worked really hard to get my charges reduced and that he did. I walked away a free woman.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2009.

Suspension issued in NY, 2009

updated on 03/02/2019

Suspended means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

John’s comment:

“I was suspended for one year due to a personal tax issue in 2009. The disciplinary committee emphasized that the suspension had nothing to do with client matters and that, in fact, my representation of clients was exemplary. I have had no other disciplinary complaints or issues during my career of more than 29 years.”
