Biography
The firm focuses on filmed entertainment and music matters, but has broad and deep experience in most aspects of modern entertainment work, and internet related work.
In the film and television industries, we act for individiuals and companies, from development through distribution and reversion, and each step between those, including financing, chain of title, above the line transactions and more.
In the music industry, we represent labels, publishers, production companies, artists, writers, producers and everyone involved in the creation, recording and exploitation of music. In addition, we buy and sell catalogs, as well as handle loans against them for both lenders and borrowers.
I work with colleagues with further expertise in copyright terminations, music management, record label administration as well as corporate finance, LLC operating agreements, and corporate financings. As such we can handle most every transaction from beginning to end at very reasonable rates.
I have been elected to Super Lawyers every year since 2008, and have been listed in Chambers USA as one of the top entertainment lawyers in music in NYC since 2005. Recently, Chambers USA added me as a highly qualified motion picture and televsion attorney as well.
I'm blessed with a happy, warm, funny family and a very full life.
