Jeri Milan leads The Journey Law Group, P.C. as its founder and managing attorney, building on a distinguished career in immigration law and advocacy. A graduate of CUNY Law and SUNY Empire State College, she draws on both academic achievement and her personal experience as an immigrant from the Philippines. Her lifelong commitment to immigrant justice was shaped early by her father’s work on behalf of Filipino migrant workers. Jeri has received national recognition for her legal scholarship and has worked on pivotal cases addressing constitutional and human rights in the immigration context. Her professional path includes clerkships with federal and state judges, an internship at the U.S. Department of Labor, and teaching organizational ethics as an adjunct professor. She is also a talented speaker, presenting most recently at the 2025 Church State Council's CLE Webinar in California on Asylum Law, and at the 2024 Pacific Union Adventist Attorneys Association Conference in Burbank, CA where she delivered a primer on Asylum Law.
