About David

Learn David’s areas of practice.

Prior to becoming an attorney, I spent several years as a music journalist and, then, a publicist in the Northwest. I hold both a Master of Science and Master of Arts degree. I also spent a year in South Korea as a Fulbright Fellow. My years in the music and fine arts industries as an entrepreneur, scholar, and international traveler inform my approach to the law, giving me an insight not achieved by most other lawyers.

Exceeded Expectations
It is with sincere pleasure that I write this review for Mr. David Faux. I was referred to Dave by another some business owner as I was looking to trademark my company name. From the very beginning of our initial consultation I realized that I would be working with a solid and ethical professional. He was able to turn around the paperwork needed almost immediately. He was quick to answer my calls and emails and truly listened to my needs as a new entrepreneur. I then hired Dave again to compose several employment agreements. The work was concise, thorough and well written. I highly recommend Dave Faux for your legal needs. It's important to have a professional such as he in your corner.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"Experienced, smart, and extremely professional attorney - Dave and I worked together on an international defamation matter involving his fashion-industry client. Dave was clear and concise in case strategy, made quick decisions on which actions we should pursue (and not pursue), and very clearly understood the needs and requirements of his client. Above all, Dave was a pleasure to work with and always maintained his cool, even when we encountered unforeseeable obstructions. We were ultimately successful in our case and, years later, Dave is the one I turn to for practical advice and IP issues in the arts industry. Highly recommended!"
