Prior to becoming an attorney, I spent several years as a music journalist and, then, a publicist in the Northwest. I hold both a Master of Science and Master of Arts degree. I also spent a year in South Korea as a Fulbright Fellow. My years in the music and fine arts industries as an entrepreneur, scholar, and international traveler inform my approach to the law, giving me an insight not achieved by most other lawyers.

Someone you want on your team.
David has been our attorney for over 12 years now and guides my firms corporate strategy on trademarks, contracts and negotiations, as well as general business law. Also highly recommended by other legal professionals.

Awesome Sauce!
Mr. Faux is about his business, period point blank! He tells you what is is or isn't. No maybe. I like the fact the he is right on the job and explains the details. Also, he would give you honest opinions why you shouldn't, before you should. Meaning he just doesn't tell you what sounds good for the ...

I retained Attorney Faux as an expert witness in a hotly contested case in which I represented the principal creator of the music and choreography for the Blue Man Group show who was also co-creator of the entire show. David’s testimony was brilliant and his participation was a significant factor in...
"Experienced, smart, and extremely professional attorney - Dave and I worked together on an international defamation matter involving his fashion-industry client. Dave was clear and concise in case strategy, made quick decisions on which actions we should pursue (and not pursue), and very clearly understood the needs and requirements of his client. Above all, Dave was a pleasure to work with and always maintained his cool, even when we encountered unforeseeable obstructions. We were ultimately successful in our case and, years later, Dave is the one I turn to for practical advice and IP issues in the arts industry. Highly recommended!"
